The season is starting in just over a month, and I'd like to begin releasing my preseason All-State Teams this week, starting with the D5 All-State teams and progressing to the D1 All-State Teams on Friday. I'll have a first-team and second-team, along with honorable mentions in each division around the state. Before the season starts, I will also update rankings in the 26, 27, and 28 classes, as well as the Watch List for the class of 2029.

Anna Miller, jr., Edgewood

Miller, who recently committed to the University of Wisconsin, has been among the elite floor generals since she stepped foot on a high school floor. Her ability to control the tempo on the offensive end of the floor and hunt her shots makes her a challenging player to slow down for opposing defenses. She's led her team to a D3 State Title in her first season and helped the Crusaders reach the D2 State Title Game this past season.

[player_tooltip player_id='533067' first='Nataya' last='Donaldson'], sr., Beaver Dam

The Beaver Dam guard has been among the elite scorers in the Badger-Large since she began her high school career. She has always been a player who could handle the physicality of the high school level and overpower guards who defend her. She has been a reliable source of offense whenever her team has leaned on her, and that shouldn't change in her senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='751262' first='Kaelyn' last='Nommensen'], jr., Wisconsin Lutheran

Nommensen brings plenty of experience to the Wisconsin Lutheran frontcourt and took a step forward in her sophomore season for the Vikings. She is an inside-out threat who was their most efficient player from start to finish last season. Plenty of people have high expectations for this core of the Vikings, and much of that hinges on Nommensen's ability to be a player who can do a little of everything on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='533077' first='Adaline' last='Sheplee'], sr., Rice Lake

A University of Wisconsin commit, Sheplee helped lead Rice Lake to their first-ever state tournament appearance last season, and has been one of the most talented and versatile wings in the state since she began her high school career. She has been at the center of what teh Warriors have done on both ends of the floor, and will be a talented player that people in the Northwest part of the state should see at one point before she moves down to Madison for her next chapter.

[player_tooltip player_id='474774' first='Leah' last='Nordin'], sr., Shawano

Nordin, another University of Wisconsin commit, is a three-level scorer who can cause problems for any she lines up against. Nordin is one of the most efficient mid-range scorers in the state, and has been a go-to scorer for a Shawano team that nearly knocked off Rice Lake in a Sectional Championship game in Mosiness last season. She will give her team a chance to win games in any matchup this winter.
