The Cornell Rams locked in another small town baller these past few days as Forward - [player_tooltip player_id='1245076' first='Darby' last='Moore'] of Earlham has committed to compete there after this Winter. Moore has been Earlham's big producer in years past as a Swiss-army knife. She is someone that her team has been feeding down low so that she can dominate in-between the blocks but she also has demonstrated that she can step out and attack from a ways away from the basket, making her a tough guard for most opponents. I'm not sure what position Moore will play in college but I'm sure she will step up and standout before you know it with the Rams program out of Cornell.

I could see [player_tooltip player_id='1091996' first='Jenna' last='Dontje'] getting the nod to play early on in her career at Simpson once she gets on campus. Dontje is a 6'0 PF with touch, balance, footwork, and physicality. She is the type that can simply go over smaller opponent or through weaker one's that may stand in her way on either side of the ball. I see Dontje being an enforcer with the Storm if she can find her niche early on in her collegiate career. She checks off a lot of boxes, she just needs to continue to learn her craft and work on her weaknesses, then who knows how far she might take things over the next 4-5 years.

The St. Thomas Tommies just got a little bit better this past weekend when [player_tooltip player_id='667953' first='Tessa' last='Driscoll'] of Iowa City - City High ended up committing there for her foreseeable future following this Winter season. Driscoll is a SG with a flame thrower from deep. She is very good in the aspects of letting it go from behind the arch off the catch, while also having the ability to do that from off the dribble as well. Driscoll has been one of the state's premier shooters in year's past and she is looking to finish off her high school career with a bang over these next six months. With this commitment, a lot of pressure lifts off her shoulders so now she is can just lock in and enjoy making the most out of her Senior season in Iowa City.

[player_tooltip player_id='609457' first='Sacha' last='Alesch'] of BG High School is off the board to D3 powerhouse - Wartburg College. Alesch, a 5'6 SG, is one of those types with a nice handle, great self-awareness, and the ability to shoot the leather off of the basketball in any given moment. Over the past three years this is a hooper that has shown her worth on every team she has competed with. Doesn't matter if that is on the travel scene, at a showcase, or during high school ball - whenever she can, Alesch puts on a show while letting the ball go from deep. I'm assuming this will be her same job at the next level, along with handling it a little bit. She possesses some real talent as a competitor so as long as she understands how she can help the team the most over her career early on, she should thrive. She does still have one more season of Varsity ball ahead at the high school level but following that - I'm sure she will be ready to roll!
