Her ability to score at all three levels made her one of the most polished prospects in the building. In transition she scored over, around, and through opponents- with the left and right hand. The mid-range was sweet and she showed the ability to stop at pop at will. Behind the arc, Figueroa was consistent and efficient. Her three point shot was very nice She was fluid and unstoppable. Figueroa was versatile enough to even run the point guard position. She displayed very good handles and got the team into their offense. What also stood out was the Figueroa's selfless selfless play and her ability to communicate on the floor. She constantly put players in the right position and showed great leadership. Defensively, she often clogged the middle, pressed the guards and got steals that went back all the way. Williams moved well without the ball and she impacted the game in a lot of ways. Her ability to rebound from the guard position, attack the rim, and distribute the ball was special. She rebounded aggressively on both ends, using her speed, athleticism and timing to extend plays. Defensively, she clogged driving lanes and contested shots. Francois ate<em> </em>all<em> </em>day<em> </em>at the Expo — serving defenders a steady helping of energy and execution. She used her size and athleticism to attack mismatches, finishing through defenders and score the ball from various levels on the court. One play comes to mind - during the 3 X 3 competition. Baker attacked the rim, head faked the defender, and finished with a turn around jumper. The confidence, the footwork, and the skill all wrapped in one play. Baker was instrumental last season, but her growth since last season was clear. Get used to a "Baker's dozen" this upcoming season.
