I attended the Expo up in Appleton, Wisconsin. I'll begin going through a handful of teams that I watched play today and highlighting the players I observed throughout the morning and early afternoon. I thought it was a productive day, as I had the opportunity to meet some players from around the state, and I found it to be my most enjoyable Expo since attending the event for the first time in 2021. Today, we'll look at Team Four and discuss the players from that unit.

I thought Whitley had a solid day up in Appleton a few weeks ago. She shot the ball well from the perimeter and didn't hesitate when she had space to shoot the ball from the perimeter. She moved away from the ball to create passing lanes for her teammates to get her the ball when her defender helped off her. She also demonstrated her ability to move her feet defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='888407' first='Jolia' last='Schlag']

The Edgerton guard is a solid perimeter shooter who has added floor spacing in her time with the Crimson Tide. She is willing to play a role on the offensive end and play away from the ball whenever she is on the floor. Her skill set helped elevate what her 5v5 unit could do on the offensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='932701' first='Kiera' last='Place']

The Sun Prairie native is a player I've highlighted due to her ceiling on the defensive end of the floor. She is an athletic wing who can move her feet on the defensive end and switch onto any position on the defensive end of the floor. Regional Schools should see her play this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1261766' first='Aubrey' last='Puent']

Puent is qa player who can get downhill and put pressure on opposing defenses. She has a floater she can rely on when she gets downhill to finish over shot blockers around the basket. I also like her ability to handle the ball under pressure. However, I loved her effort on the boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='889325' first='Kylee' last='Kitt']

Kitt is a player who is willing to work around the basket and rebound on both ends of the floor. She controls the ball well on the offensive end and clears her team's defensive lines. I also appreciated her ability to work on the defensive end of the floor and make plays on the ball, whether on or off the ball defensively. She caught my attention in Appleton.
