Today, I attended the Expo up in Appleton, Wisconsin. I'll begin going through a handful of teams that I watched play today and highlighting the players I observed throughout the morning and early afternoon. I thought it was a productive day, seeing some players from around the state, and I found it to be my most enjoyable Expo since I first attended the event in 2021. Today, we'll look at Team Three and discuss the players from that unit.

[player_tooltip player_id='890784' first='Ava' last='Koleske']

Koleske is a physical guard who finds ways to be effective on both ends of the floor. She is a player with active hands on the defensive end and can make plays on the ball while guarding on the perimeter. I also liked how well she handled the ball. Koleske did a solid job of playing through traffic and making plays with the ball in her hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1135350' first='Kylee' last='Venner']

Venner is a stronger wing who has had productive seasons at De Soto in her career. I liked what she brought to the floor on the defensive end of the court. She is a versatile player who can defend multiple positions on the perimeter and around the basket. Her combination of speed and strength allows her to be a versatile defensive piece. She is a player who could surprise people at the next level on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1277884' first='Raegan' last='Hollis']

Hollis played on a group with a handful of guards who wanted the ball in their hands, so she did most of her work away from the ball. I thought she did a solid job moving away from the ball and finding ways to get open off the ball. I liked how well she spaced the floor. She was passive on the offensive end, but she can fit into any offensive unit she may find herself in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1114682' first='Cameron' last='Boelte']

I liked what Boelte brought to the floor in her minutes. She is a physical guard who can overpower most backcourt players who look to defend her on the perimeter. I thought she did a solid job attacking the basket and putting pressure on the rim. She played through contact well and made plays around the basket. I also loved her effort on the boards and how aggressively she attacked the glass on both ends of the floor. She'll be an intriguing player to watch this coming winter at Kewaskum.
