The Expo: Top Post players (Part 2)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While I came away impressed with the quality of outside shooting, at The Expo, I was equally impressed by the following group who dominated down low. Able to score at all three levels, she impressed me with her solid post play against taller defenders. She possesses the strength to finish through contact but also great footwork to maneuver around bigger defenders including a couple of nice up and under finishes. Strong, intelligent player who knows where to position herself and how to seal off her defender. She showed a silky-smooth lefty step through to draw a foul. On another play she had a nice spin and step through combo which led to an and-1 opportunity. She always seemed to be at the free throw line where I believe she shot over 75-80% for the day. Coming off of a 22-6 season, it's easy to be excited for Elk River's chances in the Northwest Suburban conference this year!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
