[player_tooltip player_id='1363169' first='Kadley' last='Bailey'] of Creston High School scored over 325 points last Winter as a Freshman for the Panthers and she will be on track to put up even better numbers this Winter. Bailey is not only the top producer for her Varsity team, it's important to note that she is accomplishing that feat while being extremely consistent. She finished off last Winter putting up over 18 PPG on over 50% shooting. From a coaching perspective, you can't ask for anything better than that out of such a young prospect. The Panthers only finished off 2024-2025 with a 7-15 record but they should return some producers and Bailey should be even better. She is the type you can give the ball too and trust that she is going to make the right choices in whatever situation so I'm sure she has been working meticulously this off-season to sharp her skills. If this group takes it one game at a time, they should be able to build on what they have put in place in year's past.

This is an important year for [player_tooltip player_id='880901' first='Abbajay' last='Peters'] of Waukee High School. Peters came onto the scene last Winter as a Freshman and showed off her potential. In an absolutely STACKED 2028 Class, Peters falls into the Top 10 at #8 because of her mixture of athletic ability, her skill at the PG position, along with the smart head on her shoulders. In a lot of places this is PG #1 if she were in your program at the Varsity level this Winter. The biggest question Peters will have from myself is her Assist-Turnover ratio. Last year she had some games where the TO's were a problem. If she can clean that up, her Waukee High School team is going to be tough to beat and Peters will have a chance to jump into the Top Five in her 2028 Class moving into the Spring Update of 2026.

I have a feeling that [player_tooltip player_id='1216024' first='Hallie' last='Bunkers'] of Remsen St. Mary's is going to be name we hear about for years to come. Bunkers, a 5'8 Guard, averaged 18 PPG, 7 RPG, & 3 APG in her efforts last season. As you can tell this is the Hawks most impactful player on both sides of the floor. She is not only someone that can score at a steady rate but she also crashes the boards hard on both offense and defense. Not to mention that her 3 APG happens to lead her team as well. All in all, the Hawks will NEED Bunkers to be herself over the next two year's if they want to see ample success. This is a group with a seasoned coaching staff so I'm sure they will come prepared.

There is a lot of people sleeping on Cedar Falls High School for this upcoming season. Everyone just seems to count this group out and I don't understand it. This is a group that has had a great presence on defense in the past and that is the type of stuff that usually gets passed on. You combined that along with Karis Finely at the SG spot and this team becomes more dangerous then most might think. Finley is a Drake WBB commit and as smooth as they come as a skilled player. She is the type that really floats with the ball and everything she is trying to accomplish on the court just seems effortless. I'm not sure how Finley fits into the system with the Bulldogs next year but I do know she will be locked in on making the most of her Senior season. Which you love to see from an outsider perspective.

North Scott will look to [player_tooltip player_id='1055340' first='Allison' last='Moeller'] to be the mismatch monster once again this Winter. Moeller is the type that comes in right around 5'10/5'11 with great touch, better than average athletic ability, and a ton of dedication to the game. When her team can get her into favorable situations, she thrives. She also has the ability to make her own situation better with her handle and how she gets into open space. There is a lot to like out of Moeller at this point in the process. Good size and good skill to match. As long as she can play to her full capabilities this Winter, this is a name we should hear a decent amount as the Winter moves forward.
