Bolden is a solidly built guard that is emerging as one of the primary scoring threats for the Jaguars. She has solid handles and was the team's best and most consistent threat to get to the rim off the bounce. Very athletic, Bolden has lateral quickness to compete strongly with opposing point guards.

The Jaguar post is critical to point production and rebounding. She has solid hops, long limbs and substantial experience competing against strong competition. She also works well with guard play. Her quick, mid-range shot comes from the ball being held high. Converse competes well on both ends but, especially on the offensive end, I would like to see her continually and energetically put pressure on interior defenders with clear drive to be the most dominant big on the floor. She racked up double digits in points.

The Jaguar point guard continued to show strength as a floor leader and a dangerous perimeter shooter. A strong two-way player Wilborn used her quick hands and headiness to generate on-ball turnovers and transition scores.

Buckner-Franklin's quickness, hops and overall athleticism notably grew over the summer. Last season, her first at Kapaun, she showed that being named 2A player of the year at The Independent School was no fluke. Serving notice of her poise, vision and scoring ability she averaged more than 23 points. Against Andover Central her scoring primarily came within the flow of the offense and she used her vision to find teammates for quality perimeter shots and transitions scoring.

Top to bottom the Crusaders are a faster and more balanced squad than a year ago and Phister did a great job not only of creating but also moving into space. Especially in catch and shoot opportunities her release was smooth, wasted movement free and accurate. She buried a hat trick of threes to stretch Andover Central's half court defense and used her length to good effect working near the paint and defending. Colleges looking for a fast, high IQ shooter should be looking at Phister.

Knipp is one of several Crusaders that immediately looked for a body to box out when a shot went up. Her boards often did not come from out jumping people but from getting to balls that she kept others from getting to.
