In a matchup with another of the very best freshmen in the country, Morris went to work early and often for South Forsyth finishing with another 30 plus point game and putting on another shooting exhibition that few other players could match. If Morris has space and time, the ball is almost certainly going in the basket. Her range goes well beyond most college and even pro's from deep. She moves exceptionally well off the ball to get open and continues to find ways to create space for her shot with the dribble. Morris does about a good a job as any player scoring the ball when the entire defense is focused on not letting that happen.

McClain more than held her own in the battle with former teammate [player_tooltip player_id='991134' first='Carib' last='Morris']. McClain's height and length makes her a highly sought after recruit, but her footwork and timing on blocks and rebounds puts her in the elite class with Morris. Jayden got to the free throw line a lot in both games and she shot the ball well from the stripe. She was efficient and impressive scoring around the basket. Her quick leaping ability gave defenders no time to rebound the ball and she was already elevating with the put back before they could react. McClain took a few shots from three and looked very comfortable doing it.

Reckley's quickness allows her to do things with the basketball that most every other player simply cannot do. She was extremely hard to stay in front of for the AAAAAA defending state champion Newton Lady Rams. Morghan goes into every game as the player the other team has to stop, yet she still finds a way to get to basket and finish. She has an incredible ability to create space with the dribble and good movement without the ball allowing her to get off and knock down tough shots. She hit several contested shots in a row from the corners and once again she was able to generate her own offense by creating deflections and steals and speeding by everyone for uncontested layups on the other end.

Green continued to show her ability to score from all three levels for Webb while doing an equally excellent job executing sets and being a lead guard on the break. Green is one of the best shooters in the country something I have seen her do for many years. Seeing her command the offense as a true point guard in front of one of the Clemson coaches was a little bit of foreshadowing for the next few years. Green cut off screens very well to free herself from defenders and did not force any shots. She facilitated the offense and also capitalized on her opportunities to score. She made several laser passes into small windows leading to easy baskets for her teammates.

Jones was as efficient as any player at this event. She shot the ball very well from deep and scored several times off of back cuts in Ryle's half court offense. Jones was also a threat on the fast break scoring in transition multiple times including some tough And One finishes. Jones showed very good athleticism leaping for rebounds and sprinting up and down the floor. She has very quick feet which was evident when she was guarding the ball and did a nice job showing in the passing lanes on defense.

Barnes showed a very high ability level shooting the ball of the bounce as the Point Guard and leading scorer for South Dade. Barnes had a smoothness and calmness on the ball while facing a lot of pressure. She never got in a hurry or sped up, she played the game at her pace and she was very effective scoring the ball. Barnes was clearly a focus of the defense, but she knocked down several tough, contested shots trying to keep her team in the game.
