Mid-State Nominees For Miss Tennessee Rolling In

District races are at the forefront as teams complete their regular-season schedules before the deadline. I mentioned before, teams are jockeying for position in the standings. With that in mind, winning is important for seeding purposes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Not only are overall team goals and records important at this time of year, but you are also starting to see schools promote their student-athletes for the Miss Tennessee award. With hundreds of schools governed by the TSSSAA (and some that aren't), it's amazing to me how many accomplishments one might achieve throughout a career or in a single season. There are many emails, posts, etc., out there showcasing the dynamic talent we have in the state. Though the promotion is just getting started, I wanted to highlight some kids who are having a stellar season thus far. Her ability to make things happen with the ball in her hands is second to none. Her stats: 30.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 5.0 apg. She is a prolific game-changer who has her team positioned for a deep run. She is a selfless ballplayer who does everything in her power to help her team win. An Austin Peay signee who will be a game-changer at the next level.
