We have some really intriguing ranked battles on Tuesday evening across the state of Iowa.

Here are some of those matchups and how they might go -

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

#3 Norwalk (8-1) AT #1 DCG (8-1)

Norwalk High School till traveling to #1 ranked DCG on Tuesday evening for one of the best matchups over the Winter on paper. Both programs bring a 8-1 record to the table, basically dominating their every matchup they have had so far this season. When you look at the Norwalk side, they are led by future collegiate commit, [player_tooltip player_id='883552' first='Braylyn' last='Birmingham']. Birmingham is a 5'11 CG, that has been her team's main producer for almost two years now on both sides of the floor. The Mustangs will try and combat Birmingham with a more balanced lineup. The reason DCG is a team to note is because of how deep they are across the board at all positions. They have several prospects, that can play a number of positions at one time so it'll be intriguing how the Warriors work to get Braylyn open. On paper, DCG should have the personal advantage but you know what they say. They game isn't played on paper so who knows what might happen.

#9 IC West (7-3) AT #10 IC Liberty (6-3)

Iowa City West will look to come out of break and take their talents on the road to face one of their in-town rivals in Iowa City Liberty. West is a group that primarily has 2-3 big name players but they work through a certain one in Grace Fincham. Grace is a D1 committed player and someone that knows how to maneuver from the right side of the floor at a higher rate than most at her position. For Liberty, they will be headlined by SDU commit - [player_tooltip player_id='837358' first='Natalie' last='Ramsey']. Ramsey is a mismatch nightmare for most a 6'0 while being uber athletic on both ends of the floor. Usually both of these programs have decent game plans and that is what this will come down to. Who can strategize better and execute within the half court. Neither of these programs run in transition too often so it will all come down to how they play within the half. I don't see anyone slowing down Ramsey as long as she has space and timing but that's only if they can get her into those situations.

#6 West Lyon (5-3) AT #3 Rock Valley (6-1)

West Lyon has surprised some programs this Winter already and they aren't done yet. On Tuesday night West Lyon will jump on the bus and travel to Rock Valley in a Top 10 matchup of the evening. Rock Valley is highlighted by two college level SG's, along with some serviceable Post players around them. When you look at the tough task that WL will have, it's easy to see that Rock Valley should be able to pull this one out convincingly, even though it's a Top 10 ranked matchup. I do expect West Lyon to do their thing and handle the painted area's per usual but it will all come down to if they can stop the deep attack of Rock Valley from deep. They run a lot of great screening action for their prospects and if WL can't work through those, it's going to be a long evening but I guess we will just have to wait and see how it all plays out.

#5 Williamsburg (5-2) AT #10 Solon (5-2)

This contest between Williamsburg and Solon might turn into one of the best matchups of the evening if everyone plays their cards right and by that I mean more-so on the Solon side of things. Solon is young. Their best overall prospects is 2029 - [player_tooltip player_id='951657' first='Tenley' last='Levin'], who is already receiving D1 love from all across the Country but she isn't their only source. Their real mover and shaker is PG - [player_tooltip player_id='766449' first='Delainey' last='Durr']. Durr is coordinated, smart, in-control, and she runs all of their action down the court when Levin doesn't try to take it coast-to-coast for a layup. When it comes to Williamsburg, you know what you are getting. Size in the middle with [player_tooltip player_id='656292' first='Zoe' last='Allen'] and a ton of shooters from the outside, that can light up the nets in the blink of an eye. Williamsburg has the advantage walking into this game but if Solon pulls out the W, it shouldn't surprise anyone in reality.

#8 AGCG (7-0) AT #3 DSM Christian (8-1)

It's going to be the biggest test of ACGC's season thus far tonight as they go to take on DSM Christian in Des Moines, Iowa. AGCG has started off this Winter with a 7-0 record, holding their opponents to only 32 PPG so far throughout their first seven contests. On the offensive side, they return their top producer from years past in [player_tooltip player_id='1169137' first='Camdyn' last='Richter'], along with their top rebounding force - Stella Largent. One of the best parts of ACGC is that they have a different player leading each positive statistical category for them at this point and whenever you have that as a whole, it's hard to stop for opposing programs. On the DSM Christian side of things, they also return their top dawgs from years past in [player_tooltip player_id='896069' first='Reese' last='DeVooght'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1194333' first='Addy' last='Oetker'], who have really led and paved the way the past for seasons. This should be an intense battle. Only one loss between both programs so it should be competitive at the end of the day.

We have some really intriguing ranked battles on Tuesday evening across the state of Iowa.
