Senior Shooting Guards Climbing the Rankings

We have diligently evaluated 2026 prospects year-round throughout their high school careers, and the rankings have taken shape. Our list now includes 500 total prospects, and the final rankings update is just around the corner. 92% of the prospects in this class are projected to play for programs at the NAIA/D3/JUCO level. My hope is that all the girls on this list will have the opportunity to play basketball at the college level. I believe there's a kid who can help a college program at every level in these rankings. These ten combo-guards earned a higher ranking and have the potential to be excellent additions to college programs.     Cieara caught my attention for the first time during the State Semifinals with Concord last March. Her aggressive instincts, hard-nosed defense, hard drives to the basket, and tough finishing in traffic separated her on the court. Cieara was one of the best players in the gym again at the Au Sable Shootout in June. Her relentless effort, competitiveness, rebounding presence, court vision, and finishing confirmed how valuable she will be at the college level. Cieara will be very productive for Spring Arbor's reserve team.     After missing a substantial amount of time due to injury, Sadie returned to the court at the PGH Expo. She's back to peak form and having an outstanding senior year for Calvary Baptist. In December, Sadie became the second player in school history to reach 1,000 career points. She dropped 20 points and secured 11 rebounds in the game. Sadie committed to Bob Jones and will add a deadly perimeter threat to their lineup.     Aria's downhill speed, aggressive defense, athleticism, and versatility will be an exciting addition to a college program. She crashes the glass to secure rebounds on both ends, finds open teammates, and distributes crisp passes for assists. Aria can slash to the basket for layups and knock down perimeter jumpers. She's having a very productive senior year at Hamady and picked up an offer recently from Camden County College.     Elle's sharpshooting, fundamentally sound ball-handling, and footwork immediately grabbed my attention when I saw her play for the first time over the summer. Elle was deadly from the perimeter, and she maintained her balance to sink triples off the dribble. Her recruiting picked up steam in the fall, and Elle will be a fantastic addition to the Mid-Michigan Lakers after graduation.     Lauren had a solid travel season with [program_tooltip program_id='1239258' first='HB' last='Elite'] and was one of the best seniors in the gym at the Big North Shootout. She's been lethal from beyond the arc for Petoskey, draining 4+ three-pointers in multiple games this season. She's a persistent rebounder, active defender, and fierce competitor who will add great value to a college roster.     Madisyn stood out in front of our scouts during her travel season and fall league games. After an All-Conference First Team junior campaign, Madisyn has been lighting it up as a senior. She ripped the nets with six triples against Grand Rapids Catholic Central and poured in four against East Kentwood. Madisyn has college range and deadly accuracy. She's an effective slasher who distributes crisp passes to teammates and finishes at the rim. She'll be a great addition to a college program.     Ypsilanti Arbor Prep has graduated many talented college prospects over the years, which makes Angela's recent feat even more impressive. She set the Gators' single-game scoring record with 50 points in a 96-13 win against Arbor Prep Central Academy. Angela showcased her talent to our scouts down south at the PGH Expo in Georgia and left quite the impression. Her high motor, downhill scoring abilities, perimeter shooting, and physicality were separators. Angela is a 2x state champ and one of the top unsigned combo guard-forward prospects still available.     Kaylyn made a strong impression during a travel tournament with the [program_tooltip program_id='1243619' first='Clarkston' last='Warriors'] in the spring. Her three-point accuracy, pesky defense, high motor, and quick feet stood out. Kaylyn is ending her high school career on a high note for Notre Dame Prep. She poured in 25 points to become Notre Dame Prep's all-time leading scorer and added a 31-point performance against Avondale in the win. She's an unsigned guard who can make an impact at the next level.     Summer put her best abilities on display at the Headliners Invitational Showcase and left with MVP honors. Sumer's relentless motor, physicality, persistent rebounding, hard drives to the basket, tough finishes, perimeter shooting, scrappy defense, and fancy footwork separated her as one of the best players in the gym. She is having a very productive senior season for Portland and will be a great addition to a college program. Summer has offers from Aquinas, Lansing Community College, and Lake Michigan College.
