<p class="text-gray-700">Makiyia had a big week in her first three games back from injury, making an immediate impact on both ends of the floor. She opened the stretch with 15 points, three steals, four assists, eight rebounds, and five deflections against Great Crossing. She followed that with a team-high 21 points, along with three steals, three assists, eight rebounds, and five deflections in the 2A Section 5 semifinals against Mercer County, earning All-Tournament Team honors. Makiyia capped the week with 17 points, four steals, four assists, six rebounds, and six deflections in a home win over Western Hills, where she was named Player of the Game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Montgomery County star [player_tooltip player_id='376762' first='Addison' last='Terry'] put on a masterful performance against Nicholas County, pouring in a game-high 42 points while catching fire from deep, going 10-of-14 from behind the arc to lead her team to an 87–80 victory. She is averaging a team-leading 19.5 points per game while shooting 44% from three this season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Mariella delivered a monster performance against Campbell County, finishing with a game-high 43 points and 14 rebounds while going 9-of-10 from the free-throw line and recording several blocks. Over three games last week, she averaged an incredible 32 points, 12 rebounds, and five blocks per game. The 6'2 junior leads North Laurel with 18 points and 12 rebounds per game, continuing to establish herself as one of the most dominant post players in the state.</p>
