As the high school season winds down, so do the careers of this year's seniors. As is our custom in late February, we have updated our rankings of the oldest class in the state – this year it's the 2026s – one final time. Yesterday we looked at the players in the Top 50 who raised their stock – #4 [player_tooltip player_id='471360' first='Mya' last='Moore'] of Orono, #22 [player_tooltip player_id='782562' first='Le'Sedra' last='Williams'] of Minnetonka, #31 [player_tooltip player_id='719637' first='Deborah' last='Ayeni'] from Anoka, #48 [player_tooltip player_id='515674' first='Aubree' last='Hultman'] of Forest Lake and #50 [player_tooltip player_id='717664' first='Izzy' last='Guetzlaff'] of Red Wing. Today we bring you a snapshot of some of the other big stock risers this time around.

Please note: The Prep Girls Hoops prospect rankings are based on a player's potential as college basketball players. The rankings are NOT about their play in high school. Just because a player scored 1,500 points in high school does not mean their success automatically translates to the next level. We definitely make mistakes, but our process has worked well for a decade now.
The evolution of Amelia's game has been fun to watch. We knew she was putting in the work behind the scenes in prior seasons; we were just waiting for that to pay off in game situations. The wait ended this winter as Amelia has evolved into something special. She is the second-leading scorer on the state's top-ranked Class 3A squad ands she's third in rebounds, steals and assists. Her confidence in key moments has been impressive as she has become more even-keeled. Schwendimann has length, athleticism and a shooter's touch, all attributes needed to succeed at the next level. She rises 40 places to #68.

Point production is not everything, of course, but sometimes the numbers do tell a story. That's true for Johnson who was a role player on last year's veteran-laden Eagles' squad averaging just 2.9 points per game. After mass graduations, Emerson was thrust into a lead role this season and her play has been a revelation. She she leads the team in assists, steals and points at over 17 ppg. Once talent aligned with opportunity, Johnson made it clear what she can do. Emerson can get downhill, shoots with range and works hard at both ends. She rises 28 places to #77.

On a 24-win Stewartville squad loaded with top-end talent, Ruffridge's role is far less glamorous but no less important. Addison is a grinder down low, the kind of big body who can control the paint and make space for her teammates to grab headlines. She's practically averaging a double-double. Why? Because she keeps the game simple, does the little things all quality post players do, and relishes contact. She has learned how to create space and leverage her assets to dominate others inside. Ruffridge plays with poise and the composure of a veteran and now moves up a remarkable 79 places in our rankings.

Overall skill is important. Shooting prowess, too. But true impact on the floor comes from so much more than God-given talent. You simply cannot measure heart, leadership ability, a team-first focus and all of the good things that result from that. That's Audrey. This year, it's Audrey with the volume turned up. Brown has been everywhere from the opening tip of the season, leading the team in scoring at nearly 17 ppg while shooting almost 50% from the field. Audrey has always been good but she has now evolved to great. That comes with a big jump in the PGH rankings.

Coach Jon Herbrechtsmeyer of Bethel University has a long history of recruiting under-the-radar talent and getting the best out of them at the collegiate level. As much as Morrissey's game has already grown in the latter stages of her high school career, it's going to be fun to watch her evolution playing for Herby. After a strong performance at the PGH Expo in September, Lily has put together a huge senior season. Morrissey is a force down low where the 6-footer scores consistently through contact. As a result, she leads the 20-win Schaeffer Academy-Hayfield co-op in scoring and so much more.

THREE MORE WHO MADE A STATEMENT

#51 [player_tooltip player_id='927228' first='Amaya' last='Pahl'] – The MSU-Mankato commit from Lakeville South continues to improve on both ends of the floor. She's strong and athletic, but it is the growth of her overall skillset that is most impressive. She rebounds hard, scores consistently and is a vocal leader for the Cougars.

#70 [player_tooltip player_id='782558' first='Kate' last='Thayer'] – The talented point guard from Northome-Kelliher possesses plenty of assets you can measure (2,000+ career points for example) but so much more that you can. She is tenacious, turning defense into offense as well as anyone in the class. Let's hope she finds a great fit in college.

#117 [player_tooltip player_id='742286' first='Sydney' last='Schmitz'] – The big forward from Centennial caught our attention over Thanksgiving with a level of performance that could not be denied. She has good size and quality skill and the ability to knock down three-pointers from distance. We love her grit, tenacity, leadership skills and relentless energy.
