Carlisle High School moves into the Top 5 in the 4A Class as we head into the Playoff's this next week with a shot of an appearance at State if they handle things accordingly. A big reason for Carlisle's success is the skill level and more-so, skill-gap from [player_tooltip player_id='502100' first='Macy' last='Comito'] to the rest of her competition. Comito is simply a next level prospect, that is cool as the other side of the pillow. She is smooth with her movement, she is crafty for her size, and she is used to a big work load throughout a long battle on the hardwood when the situation calls for it. Comito has been a top player out of the 2026 Class for years now, moving all around the Top 10. When she looks back at what she has accomplished individually throughout the past four season, she should be proud. She is going to be a legend in Carlisle history for the next 50 years and that's noteworthy.

[player_tooltip player_id='595154' first='Brenna' last='Johnson'] is in the rare company with the stats she just posted for the regular season with her Westwood High School team (19-1). Johnson finished off the regular season with 20.5 PPG and 9.9 RPG, leaving her .1 RPG away from averaging a double-double in points-rebounds throughout their 20 contests and she also happen to dish out 2.2 APG at the same time from her SF Position. If Johnson doesn't put together a good game, Westwood doesn't look like themselves. Her production under the bucket and running the floor has helped them dominate their competition so far this Winter. They just need to play off of that momentum as we move forward and they continue to win some games before everything is said and done.

Tipton High School is currently a program with a 19-2 record. If I told you that to start off this Winter, I don't think you would have believed me but this group has really put it together as a whole. One of their main producers, who has been a shining star throughout everything so far is CG - [player_tooltip player_id='1314677' first='Jordyn' last='Schmidt']. Schmidt leads this group in PPG and RPG but a slim margin over 6'1 teammate - [player_tooltip player_id='1583048' first='Zane' last='Ehler']. She has been their driving force over the past few months as a whole. When things don't go the Tigers way, they look towards Schmidt. When they need a bucket, they look at Schmidt near the basket. When they need a stop, it's Schmidt they call upon. As you can tell, Schmidt makes things happen and I can't wait to see what she will make happen over these next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='901710' first='Avah' last='Underwood'] of St. Albert is the reason that I think that the Saintes can make a run and become back2back 1A State Champions this Spring if some things fall their way. Underwood, the Wayne State WBB commit, had a 24 & 24 game last year in the State Title game, showing you what she can really do when she is given ample opportunities under the hoop. This group is one that thrives off of team play so in no way is Underwood their only hooper on roster but she is the most impactful. Her play directly correlates to her team's success. That has been proven over the past 3.5 years at the Varsity level and you can't say that for most others out there.
