30, 5, & 3. Gilbert High School might not have won against Xavier on Saturday night but that didn't stop [player_tooltip player_id='833953' first='Callie' last='Hales'] from proving her worth. Hales ended things with 30 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, and a few other positive statistics in her efforts. As a whole, her team only put up 50 against a tough defensive Xavier team so to score 30 is noteworthy. Hales didn't even have the best game herself from the field but what she did do was that she demonstrated that belongs with the other college levels prospects that were competing around her. All in all, Hales put together a good season as a whole this year when it comes to the individual numbers and I'm sure she is excited to move into AAU season on the road for her last go-around with her Pure Prep program.

22, 16, & 4. If you have been paying attention to IC - Liberty the past few years then you know all about their leading force, [player_tooltip player_id='837358' first='Natalie' last='Ramsey'], who will be competing at South Dakota following this Winter. Well Ramsey did what she was suppose to do Saturday evening, putting up big numbers as a mismatch nightmare against CR - Jefferson High School. Being 6'1 and super athletic is too much for most to handle. When you pair that along with someone who has a high motor and a ton of energy, most can't stick with them and that was the case here. Ramsey was too much to handle on the glass with her athletic ability. Her first step explosion towards the hoop was too much to handle for the opposing big and that's why she nearly posted a 20-20 double-double when the game ended with a few assists.

11, 16, & 6. It's going to be a very intriguing Spring/Summer for [player_tooltip player_id='1202933' first='Albany' last='Reinke'] of Spirit Lake High School. Reinke stepped up this season to show everyone watching that she has a great size over 6' and that she can play. She wasn't a name that we had on our radar to start the year but she definitely has been a name to note to finish it. Spirit Lake fell just short in their battle Saturday evening but someone that kept them in this game during clutch time was Reinke. She was able to work out of the Post, taking up space in the middle of the lane on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she was a player of opportunity. She was moving into open space and making the most off of others creation off the dribble. Whenever there was a missed shot attempt, she stepped up to try and grab the rebound for another possession. Defensively, if opponents didn't worry about her, she would end the play with an altered shot of some sorts in the form of a tip or deflection. Spirit Lake might not of made State this time around but looking at their roster from this season and they are in a great spot looking towards the future with their young core.

31, 7, & 3. That's right. 31 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists in a 5 point victory. Dill lead her team in this game with her Will. She was tasked prior to the game to lead by example and she did just that. She scored the ball at a decent rate for a game-high 31, she attempted to crash the boards on both sides of the ball each possession, she hit some open teammates for assists with her creation, and she defended her own position thoroughly - never taking plays off on that side of the floor. It's hard to be someone that is responsible to take over offensively while still being your team's main defender. Those prospects don't get many breaks but Dill has demonstrated that she can handle anything thrown at her so far. Now we have to see how far she will be able to take things as we move into the rest of this week of action.

19 & 8. The balanced Guard attack of Central DeWitt is something the Sabers are going to miss after this season. They will lose their two best players, both college committed guards, due to graduation so they are living in the moment right now as they look at make it back to DSM once more before that time. One of those guards, that has been around for year's now is [player_tooltip player_id='1060063' first='Kinley' last='Birt']. Birt just had 19 points and 8 assists on Saturday evening to help her squad. She went 7/9 from the field, including going 5/6 from three point line, only missing one shot from deep. These shots mainly came off of the creation of others and were catch-and-shoot situations but she also got her own whenever needed. If Central DeWitt wants to make another big State run, this type of Guard play will be necessary. That's for sure.
