In this article, we take a look at several players in the Class of 2028 who may not yet be widely known across the state, but clearly possess the skill, tools, and upside to get there. The class is deep, and these prospects stand out because of the way they impact games on offense, on defense, and especially in transition. They are active, versatile, and play winning basketball. While they may currently fly under the radar, they are players college programs and fans alike should keep an eye on over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1302213' first='Kniya' last='Godfrey'] is shaping up to be a serious prospect in the 2028 class and look for her to be a fast mover up the rankings. She is long, athletic, and extremely active on both ends of the floor. She makes plays in transition, rebounds well, blocks shots, and gets off the floor quickly. Godfrey already shows a soft touch around the rim and plays with nonstop energy. She consistently gives maximum effort and impacts the game defensively and offensively. As her skill set continues to catch up with her physical tools, she projects to be a force over the next couple years.

[player_tooltip player_id='934210' first='Kristyonna' last='Harris'] burst on the scenes as an outstanding young defender with tremendous upside on the offensive end. This year she took steps developing her offensive game and a word to the State of Florida - she is trending up as her game took leaps and bounds this year. She handles the rock, gets to the rim more efficiently, finishes with touch and elevation, and can shoot the midrange jumper and floater. Already one of the top defensive players in the 2028 class — and potentially elite on that end — her overall growth makes her a major long-term prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='515000' first='Rainah' last='Small'] is an athletic guard who stays around ball. She shoots the three well and is very active defensively — diving for loose balls, jumping passing lanes, and turning steals into transition opportunities. Sibley plays with a little flair and a whole lot of production. She has speed, can shoot the three, attacks the rim in transition, and shows excellent court vision getting teammates involved. Sibley is a selfless playmaker who also defends well by reading passing lanes and generating steals. She impacts both sides of the floor and and is especially noticeable in crunch time.

[player_tooltip player_id='514918' first='Adelynn' last='Curry'] is one of the top athletes in the 2028 class and elite in flag football. Her athleticism on the court shows it— attacking the rim with speed in transition and finishing with either hand.
