Meet the Nominees
Maci was spectacular in two big victories for a Southside team that will head into regional tournament play as the No. 2 seed from the 4A-6 Conference. She finished with 34 points, 4 steals and 4 assists in a 77-50 demolishing of Lo-noke, and notched 28 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in a 93-75 victory at Stuttgart. She was also named the Arkansas Democrat Gazette player of the week for her efforts.

In the regional championship game Benet Academy vs. Oswego East, Emma scored 36 points to lift Benet 58-50 over OE. She scored the first 17 points for Benet in this game, also had 12 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Peyton, sophomore from Climax-Fisher, scored her 2,000th point this week vs Sacred Heart. She scored 29pts, grabbed 18 rebounds, and 5 steals. Peyton is having a great comeback season after tearing her ACL sitting out her Freshman year. She is currently averaging 26.8 pts/15 rebounds after having a week where she scored 32pts and grabbed 27 rebounds. Not only that, but two weeks ago she grabbed her 1,000th rebound in her career.
Avery broke the all time record for program history in the game at South Warren High School on February 17, 2026. She scored 33 points in the game to become the all time leading scorer in program history as a Junior. She currently has 2,450 points and counting!

Savanna had a standout performance in a huge victory over third-place Grafton. She led all scorers with 17 points, helping secure the win. She connected on five three-point shots while shooting an impressive 50% from beyond the arc. She also made her presence felt defensively and across the floor, finishing with 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 4 deflections, and 2 assists. Savanna currently leads her team in scoring, steal and deflections and leads the Class of 2028 in the state of West Virginia with 41 made three-pointers this season. She is also 14th among all Class levels for WV in made 3-point shots which is very impressive for a Sophomore.

Kie'Aundria scored her 2500th career point and 500th career assist as a junior. She lead the team to back to back region championships averaging 31 points 16 rebounds in the region tournament while being named Region Player of Year for the third year in a row.

Riley has notched almost at 1700 points, won her 3rd consecutive conference championship, 2 consecutive undefeated conference championships, converting over 43% of 3-pointers on 99 attempts, has taken 155 free throws converting on 74%, and averages 21.4 points per game.
She is leading her team in scoring for 4 years. Scored 29 points in a conference clinching road win and had 32 points on just 13 shots to secure the 2nd straight undefeated Woodland East Conference Title.

Leila delivered a dominant performance against Druid Hills, erupting for a career-high 32 points while also setting a career high with 17 steals, completely taking over the game on both ends of the floor. She added 7 assists and 6 rebounds, showcasing her ability to score, facilitate, rebound, and turn defense into instant offense. She followed that standout performance with another strong showing against Lithonia, knocking down five three-pointers and finishing with 17 points. Her back-to-back performances highlight her scoring ability, defensive intensity, and overall leadership on the court.
