[player_tooltip player_id='777230' first='Halle' last='Clark'] is committed to compete with Omaha in Softball for her collegiate future. If she wasn't, she would be a rising prospect within the 2027 Class, that a lot of colleges would have interest in because of her play making ability off of the dribble. Clark is the type that makes things happen. Doesn't matter if it's on the softball diamond or on the basketball hardwood. She is a smooth operator with the rock in her hands offensively. She gets to the bucket off the drive a lot but she can also step out and knock down jumpers from deep so defense have to be particular in how they guard her. In this Update, Clark moves up to #27 moving into this Spring.

I'm not sure that it's fair anymore to label [player_tooltip player_id='909494' first='Emma' last='Walkup'] as just a SG. Walkup has a good feel with the ball, better than average vision down the floor, and she has an overall smart head on her shoulders for decision making in any situation. This past season Walkup played her part. She made impactful plays on both sides of the ball and she always gave it a valiant effort while trying to compete. She has been one of the most coordinated players within her program for a few years now and that will be the case once again for her Senior season this upcoming Winter. I'm really curious how [program_tooltip program_id='712617' first='Lady' last='Pure Prep'] is going to compete on the road this Spring. If their prospects like Walkup can play with confidence, they could win a lot of games in the long run over the next few months.

We are going to be able to see what [player_tooltip player_id='832211' first='Cora' last='Sauer'] is made out of this AAU season when she is on the road with the Lady Martin Bros Select program. Sauer, a 5'8 SG, has an overall game that is noteworthy. Offensively, her shooting stroke from deep is clean and fundamental. She can finish at the hoop on either side with either hand in a number of different ways and she can move off of the ball as a cutter for simple looks off of her movement. Defensively, this is someone that stands out. She gets her hands on several tip/deflections throughout the duration of a ball-game and that plays into her team's group defense as a whole. If I'm a recruiter at the college level around the Midwest, this is someone that I would take a look at. She brings a lot of positives to the court and she is only going to get better with time/experience.

You have to like the size that [player_tooltip player_id='908914' first='Taylor' last='Vore'] brings to the table as a 5'11 SG. Over the past few seasons, Cedar Falls has been led by a D1 talent but this upcoming Winter that talent will be gone due to graduation so prospects like Vore are going to be needed to step up even more than they did this past year. Vore likes to be one pass, right off the ball on offense with her quick trigger from deep off the catch. If defenses end up falling asleep, she is sure to let it fly within space whenever she has the room. This AAU season is a big one for Vore. I'm hoping that she can step up for the Ball Stars and make plays down the stretch of some highly anticipated games. If she does that, she is going to have a few coaches reaching out with interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='743646' first='Mya' last='Contreras'] is one of the more underrated prospects out of the 2027 Class in Iowa. Contreras was on our radar a few years ago and then she had to sit out a season due to injury but now she is back and better than ever. Contreras is a player that works well within opportunity. She moves into space really well and she knows when she should do what, in almost every situation that is placed in front of her. She is equipped with a fundamental dribble and cross over from right to left while never being one to settle on the offensive side of the ball. If she can drive through her defenders hips and get into the teeth of the defense, she will. That's something you love to see out of a hungry hooper.
