At one point early it looked like the game may have been over, as Milton came out with a fast start in the second half to further extend their lead. However, [player_tooltip player_id='1798393' first='Kashariyona' last='White'] was not going to let that happen and led Coffee in a valiant comeback attempt that fell just short. White and senior post [player_tooltip player_id='790247' first='Lexie' last='Bradford'] did everything they could to extend their high school careers and got help from freshman Jazmin Moody. Milton's guard play was too much to overcome as they advance now to play the winner of Creekview versus River Ridge.

Musselman was huge for Milton in this game giving them buckets when they needed them most. After her first two jumpers were slightly off, Musselman was fouled and went to the free throw and made both. That's normally a good thing for shooters and in this case it was as she hit two three pointers from the corner in her team's next few possessions. She showed her versatility and skill on the break making a difficult catch, dribble, and spin into the lane where she finished nicely at the rim. Musselman hit another big three in the second half when Coffee was minting a comeback. She used her long arms, staying high and wide, to put pressure on ball handlers as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1242017' first='Davis' last=''] was a blur throughout the game getting from end to end and spot to spot for Milton. She is extremely difficult to stay in front of when she has the ball. Deyva has cat-like quickness and does a good job pushing her dribble out in front of her while maintaining control which enables her to cover more ground, quicker. She had several assists in the game, made several other very good passes to her teammates that they did not convert. [player_tooltip player_id='1242017' first='Davis' last=''] gets the ball where it needs and should go. She is a threat to score herself slashing to the basket and and getting bucketts in transition. If she can consistently knock down jump shots her recruitment would go to another level.

Tomlinson played a very good floor game, rebounding the ball and defending Coffee's taller post players. Offensively, she made herself available throughout the game, specifically cutting from the corner to the basket baseline, where she caught the ball multiple times and scored. Another time she was fouled, went to the line, and made both free throws. On one play Tomlinson was left unguarded at the three point line, she calmly took two dribbles pulled up and knocked down the mid range jumper. Her play will be very important in the state championship game for Milton and she is definitely a player to watch in Georgia next season.

Brunetti brings it off the bench for Milton each timeI watch them play. The freshman is very solid fundamentally and has a quit confidence on the court. she is very efficient, capitalizing on the opportunities she gets offensively. she did that again this game finishing at the rim and knocking down a nice 12 foot jumper. Brunetti converted a tough and one play in the second half which helped Milton extend their lead. She also had a huge block on defense. Brunetti could be a solid division one player in three years.

White simply refused to lose and did everything she could late in the game to give her team a chance. She made play after play slicing to the basket and finishing over and around tall defenders. She did this trip after trip making a tougher shot each time. She scored on the break laying the ball up and making shots at the free throw line. One play in the half court White drove baseline and came back middle with a huge jump stop in the middle of the paint where she rose up and scored cutting Milton's lead again. It was a very impressive performance to end your high school career on, even if it was in a close loss. White played excellent and should hold her head high.

There were stretches in this game where Bradford was un-guardable in the post. She, along with White, fought until the very end for Coffee and left it all on the court in their final high school game. Bradford was very good finishing around the basket, whether it was on an assist from a teammate, an offensive rebound, or a loose ball. She got control of the ball and got it up to the rim with good touch quickly. She showed her athleticism on one play late in the game sprinting the length of the floor and finishing. Bradford was fouled several times shooting and made most of her shots from the line. Her productivity was very good in this game and should have gained the interest of college coaches in attendance.
