[player_tooltip player_id='514613' first='Valeria' last='Munoz'] delivered the most explosive scoring performance of the day with 20 points on 7-14 shooting, including six three-pointers. Her perimeter shooting stretched the defense and created space for Lake Highland's offense throughout the game. Munoz showed confidence spotting up and pulling the trigger from deep, and once she found rhythm she became difficult to contain. In addition to her scoring, the point guard ran the show with great composure, a high IQ, and displayed great decision making on the State's biggest stage. She dished out three assists and two steals, showing she can impact the game beyond her shooting. Munoz is an unsigned senior who impressed a lot of coaches during the gauntlet known as the 3A semifinals.

[player_tooltip player_id='248355' first='Alana' last='Pinnock'] delivered one of the most complete performances of the day, finishing with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks while shooting 8-17 from the field and 2-4 from three. What makes Pinnock stand out is her ability to influence the game in multiple ways without forcing offense. Pinnock has a switch that she can flip on and take over a game. She scored from the perimeter, attacked when lanes opened, and consistently made the right reads. Defensively, her length and instincts allowed her to disrupt passing lanes, get steals, and deflect passes and game long. Pinnock also showed versatility on the defensive van defending guards on the perimeter and challenging shots at shots at the rim. Pinnock's versatility and two-way production helped Somerset stay in control during the latter part of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1223178' first='Aubrey' last='Griffin']'s impact went beyond scoring. The small forward finished with 7 points, she controlled the glass with 9 rebounds and added 3 assists while posting one of the best plus-minus numbers in the game (+19). Griffin influenced the game with her activity, rebounding presence, and ability to contribute across multiple areas. Her ability to put the ball down and get into the paint put tons of pressure on the defense. From there she drew double teams and kicked out to open shooters for daggers. Even on a night when the shot wasn't falling consistently, she still affected the outcome with her overall play and effort.
