The gathering in the Yellowhammer State was the Roll Tide Rumble with the picturesque geography of Guntersville once again providing a scenic backdrop to the scintillating basketball that took place throughout the weekend. Supreme Courts, the Guntersville Recreation Center and Guntersville HS – whose Wildcats won this past season's 5A state championship – all hosted games.

YAG Ballers 17U's weekend in Alabama may have concluded with a whimper via a loss to [program_tooltip program_id='713704' first='Alabama' last='Elite'] 17U. Her solid play still ensured her travel team put together a successful Roll Tide Rumble weekend. At 5-foot-11, she is already tough to contend with in the interior but even more so when one considers her rim-attacking skills and her floor-running abilities. Macon is a two-sport athlete who also competes in volleyball alongside her basketball achievements. She was part of a 4A Itawamba Agricultural team that finished with a 22-8 record in 2025-26. Macon earned an offer from the Mississippi University for Women back in October and was announced as joining YAG Ballers in January.

Lady Bombers 17U presented one of the most dangerous backcourts of the 17U division at Roll Tide Rumble. Lind displayed that her team was a force to be reckoned with in its frontcourt as well en route to a 4-0 weekend in Guntersville. She also displayed that frontcourt could display versatility in the form of 3-point shooting ability. Lind was one of three from the class of 2028 on the 2025-26 7A Oak Mountain team. Lind can be a tall task for opposing offenses to contend with considering her ability to come away with steals and her shot-blocking capabilities. She helped Lady Bombers 17U win all of its games this past weekend by double digits.

Throughout Morrison's athletic career, she has played volleyball and basketball. A solid standout veteran with 5A Brewer, Morrison is a double-double possibility on a game-by-game basis. She can give a team solid minutes either as a pure big or as a power forward. Morrison will play with her back to the back and utilizes her footwork and height advantage to ensure she converts on a high-percentage shot opportunity. Morrison understands that playing in the interior means drawing contact and getting opportunities at the free throw line. She averaged 12.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and 1.1 steals per game.

The four opponents this past weekend for Alabama Generals 17U had to find a way to contain this rising name from the northwest regions of the state. The success rate of containing Ricks was very low. Not only does Ricks make plays as a scorer and attacker of the basket, but she does so as a ball distributor as well. Defensively, she is a threat to collect many steals and is very confident in her abilities. Last season, she brought her many basketball talents from 3A Colbert County to 7A Florence. It was roughly a year ago when Ricks landed her first collegiate offer from Calhoun Community College.

Robeson is at the nucleus of the overall game plan for Alabama Roadrunners Premier 17U Gold. The 7A Albertville team she was part of this past season concluded its 2025-26 campaign with a solid record of 28-5. She played in 29 of the Aggies' 33 games this past season while averaging 8.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest. Opposing teams have to watch for Robeson's ability to make transition plays and her proficiency from behind the 3-point line. One can see exactly why last year she secured an in-state offer from Gadsden State. Robeson's club career previously included a stint with Alabama Twisters.
