All-NOVA Junior Team 2025-2026

Northern Virginia is loaded with elite junior talent, and this group represents some of the most complete payers in the region. From dominant post presences to dynamic shot creators and lockdown defenders, these athletes impacted winning in every possible way this past season. Many already earned all-state recognition while leading deep postseason runs, and several are poised for even bigger breakout senior campaigns.    Ryan emerged as one of the most versatile forwards in Northern Virginia this season, obtaining multiple double-doubles as a result of her ability to rebound, push in transition, facilitate, and score downhill. She led the way in Stone Bridge's state tournament run while earning First Team All-State. She is a physical playmaker who impacts both ends of the floor.     Wooten established herself as one of the area's most complete guards, earning First Team All-State. Her size and versatility allow her to score, facilitate, rebound, and defend multiple positions while creating matchup problems. Whether attacking the rim, knocking down jumpers, or controlling tempo, Wooten showed she makes an impact every area of the game.     Kinlaw is one of the region's most relentless interior players with her elite rebounding and offensive game. Her energy and motor changed games for Oakton. She is capable of attacking from the perimeter and knocking down mid-range shots in addition to finishing around the rim, as she looks poised for an even bigger senior season.     Bundick proved herself as one of the top all-around guards in the area with her scoring and playmaking. She is a crafty shot creator who finishes through contact and thrives in big moments. She became the focal point of Woodgrove's offense while also contributing on the defensive end and rebounding, earning her All-State recognition.     Stanford's versatility makes her one of the most unique matchup problems in the region, capable of impacting the game as a scorer, rebounder, facilitator, and defender. She showed the ability to handle the ball, create offense, and contribute physically inside. With her length and all-around skill set, Stanford has the tools to post massive numbers next season.     Conteh dominated the paint all season and established herself as one of the most physical forwards in Northern Virginia. The Cardinal District Player of the Year overwhelmed opponents with her rebounding, touch around the rim, and ability to finish through contact. She proved she can impact the game on both ends of the floor.     Abraham used her size, length, and defensive presence to control the paint for Gainesville. She protects the rim at a high level, rebounds effectively, and finishes through contact. With her offensive game continuing to expand, Abraham looks to remain as one of the top interior players in her class, stacking up multiple D1 offers.     Salinas impacts the game far beyond the box score. She is arguably one of the best shooters in the area, as she spaces the floor well, while also rebounding, defending, and embracing whatever role her team needs. She has the size, physicality, and two-way impact that will take her far in her career.     Overton rose to become one of the region's best two-way guards and defensive tone-setter. She combines relentless on-ball pressure with strong decision-making, creating transition opportunities while also scoring at all three levels. With her pace, control, and high IQ on both ends, Overton became the driving force behind Hayfield's success.     Dillard remained a consistent asset for Lightridge, using her physicality and aggressive downhill style to pressure defenses. She attacks the basket, finishes through contact, and rebounds well. Her ability to generate offense makes her one of the district's toughest matchup problems on the wing.     Huynh proved herself as one of the region's most dangerous perimeter scorers and one of Battlefield's most important players. She is a confident shooter with deep range who can completely shift momentum when she gets hot beyond the arc. Huynh will continue to be one of the area's elite point guards with her playmaking ability, poise, and defensive effort.     Diamond helped lead Skyline to the Class 3 State Championship, emerging as one of the most impactful two-way players in the state. She thrives in transition and creates constant pressure on defense, while being an offensive weapon with her rebounding and shot creation. Diamond filled the stat sheet and delivered in big moments.
