She consistently created opportunities for her teammates, keeping her eyes up in transition and delivering accurate passes to set up open looks. In the half court, she sliced up zone defenses manipulating defenders with her vision and time to generate scoring opportunities. With the ball in her hands, every possession felt like a highlight waiting to happen. Her ability to anticipate the next action and deliver perfect passes, paired with her three-level scoring ability is special to watch. What separates her, though, is her leadership. On a baseline out-of-bounds play, she was directing teammates into position before quickly delivering a pass for an open look. There's a reason she's regarded as one of the top players in her class. In a tough matchup against JSizzle (FL), she was a constant offensive spark. Every time she touched the ball, the defense was on high alert, yet she still created space for her shot. With a quick release, she knocked down multiple step-back threes in the first half, including an and-one from deep. She carried that momentum into the second half, continuing to stretch the defense with her transition three point shooting. James is a true shot-maker for CTAB Elite 17U.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180540' first='Madyson' last='Sanya'] proved to be a high-level scorer, especially when attacking the rim. In the opening game against JSizzle (FL), she capitalized on transition opportunities created by her team's defense, finishing through contact on multiple trips down the floor. In the half court, she used her handle to get downhill and consistently pressure the paint. Madyson's ability to absorb contact and finish makes her a constant scoring threat and player to watch as an up and coming guard.

Naomi Koldobsky set the tone for [program_tooltip program_id='750645' first='Team' last='Melo'] 17U while also showing her ability to create offense for herself. Early on, she pushed the pace and advanced the ball ahead to generate easy scoring opportunities for teammates. As the game progressed, she shifted into scoring mode. Her pace in transition consistently put pressure on the defense, leading to multiple trips to the free throw line. In the half court, she mixed in a reliable floater and used her craft to create space. Naomi plays with a strong feel for when to facilitate and when to take over.
