Class of 2029 Summer Watchlist: Part 2

As mentioned previously, the Class of 2029 continues to make a name for themselves early in their high school careers. From the skillful guards to the powerful post players, this group impresses in every aspect of the game. The list will increase as the club season progresses, but for now, here are 15 more rising sophomores to watch this summer.    Burrell contributes on both ends of the floor and is always aware of where the ball is, whether she's squaring up for a three or anticipating a pass. She shows great athleticism and speed in collecting steals and handling it all the way for a fast break layup. She knows how to maneuver through traffic in her ability to score at all levels.     Shrestha is a difference-maker who can impact the game across multiple categories. Her athleticism allows her to score efficiently and lead in playmaking and court awareness. She's highly competitive and has the ability to turn defense into offense with steals and transition play.     Thomas plays with a "where there's a will, there's a way" mentality, determined to create scoring opportunities for herself when defenses are pressuring her. She can play in and outside, moving to the perimeter to knock down threes and backing down opponents to score in the paint. She can score in transition and halfcourt sets.     Foreso is physical inside, not afraid to put a body on someone for a box out. She positions herself well, whether she's crashing the boards for a rebound or going up for an aggressive take in the paint. On offense, she gets to where she needs to be and executes her role effectively.     Matthews controls the pace of the game with poise and strong decision-making. She stretches the floor with her perimeter shooting, knocks down shots in key moments, and balances her scoring aggression with patience as a playmaker. She can also attack off the dribble and create offense.     Dyson knows how to get to the free throw line. She makes aggressive drives to the basket and will locate gaps to attack from the perimeter. She also runs the floor well in transition, playing wide to maintain space so she can receive the ball and handle it through traffic and to the basket for an easy layup.     Otey has a complete game in her ability to pick steals and handle the ball coast to coast. She plays well on the block, whether she's receiving the ball to score or looking to kick it out to an open shooter. She makes strong drives to the basket and shows she can run the floor and convert in transition.     Demars is a true facilitator who makes smart decisions and finds the best scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. She'll pull up for a three but will also pass and move to get the ball back for a layup. She moves with a purpose and is intentional when she's in control on offense.     Doyle is a versatile player who pressures defenses with her ability to score at all three levels. She makes strong attacks downhill, knocks down perimeter shots, and shows great court awareness and skills as a scorer and passer. With her high IQ, she is capable of creating offense in multiple ways.     Stockton can do it all on offense from handling the ball up the floor to pulling up for a three-pointer. Her greatest strong suit is her ability to attack the basket. She has the athleticism, skills, and IQ that allow her to read the floor and find gaps to score as she uses her length to extend for layups.     Williams is active on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she helps pressure the ball and will collect steals. She knows how to turn defense into offense, as she will handle it up the floor and look to advance it. She moves with a purpose and maintains an offense as she receives the ball back for a shot.     Ducharme brings intriguing size and developing interior presence. She's a natural who uses her fundamentals around the basket with her rebounding, shot-contesting, and defensive awareness in the paint. She has the tools to grow into an even stronger two-way presence inside.     Shupe knows how to drive and attacks gaps really well. She'll split defenders and navigate her way to the basket for an easy layup, capable of finishing with her right and left hand. She's active on defense and builds momentum on offense as she collects steals and pushes it up the floor for a fast break finish.     Comey knows her role and executes it accordingly, as she moves well to receive the ball and score. She showcases exceptional footwork in the paint and reads the defense to create space and positioning before finishing at the rim. Defensively, she denies the ball and plays good help, allowing her to deflect and block.     Cook can score on all levels, finding space for a short jumper, attacking the paint for a drive, and moving to the wing for an open three. She's a facilitator too and will pull up for a three if the opportunity presents itself. She keeps the ball moving on offense but will look for a pass-back as she squares up for another open three.
