Recruitment Update: May 26th, 2026

Here are a few athletes out of the Midwest that have recently been offered or they just committed to compete at the next level following their last high school season of competitive ball.   Each player listed has shown off their skill-set over the years and that has helped them prove to recruiters that they have what it takes to suit up at the next level in one way or another.   Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!    We have seen steady progression out of Macey O'Brien over the last couple of seasons and that's why she holds a handful of offers from the D1 and D2 levels. O'Brien is a 5'10 PG with a great feel for the game. She moves effortlessly coming down the floor with the ball and she possesses the ability to take over a game in a short amount of time. This AAU season has been a solid one so far for O'Brien and Company. They are getting a lot of eyes on their 17U group and receiving some offers because of it, which is really all that matters at this point in their process. Most recently, Roosevelt University out of Chicago has thrown their hat in the run to lock down O'Brien for her collegiate years. This is another really solid offer for O'Brien and one I'm sure she will consider at a high rate moving into her Senior season at Hudson High School this Fall.     Central (Dutch) College has been handing out offers at a high rate the last few weeks as they look at lock in some difference makers out of the 2027 Class within Iowa. One of their most recent targets is Izabella Farley of Wapsie Valley High School. Farley has a good track record over her high school career. She is a true 6'0 Forward, that can move to multiple positions on the floor on offense and defense. Over her high school career she has averaged noteworthy numbers for her squads and that's going to lead to some chances to compete at the next level eventually. This is one of the first offers from Farley that I've seen but I'm sure it won't be the last. She has a well rounded game with her size so the potential for production at the next level is there as long as she finds herself in the right system.     Katie Muller recently pulled in two more Division-1 offers because of her efforts on the AAU floor with her Missouri Phaeton EYBL program this Spring. These two offers come in the form of Seton Hall and Tulsa to add to the pile that Muller currently possesses. By the time that she commits, Muller will most likely have more than 25+ offers from P4 programs across the Country and that just speaks to what college coaching staffs think about her future potential. She is a 6'2/6'3 SG with an impressive skillset offensively while possessing the size to be able to switch defensively onto multiple positions. When you combined all of that together, you get a mixture that you don't see too often. A mixture that most college coaching staffs would love to have at their disposal moving forward.     Hales of Gilbert High School is another prospect that Roosevelt University has offered to compete at the next level once her high school career comes to a close. This offer makes a lot of sense as Hales is bringing in interest from all over the last couple of years. She has been getting looked at by a handful of D1 programs, while having other D2's consistently reach out with interest. If you know anything about Hales it's that she is PG #1. She understands pace of play, how to make those around her better, and how to be a selfless individual. She embodies what it means to be a pass first PG, that can also score at a steady rate and because she competes for a smaller high school in Iowa, many won't notice that until she is already at the next level, doing her thing at a higher rate than most at the end of the day.     Every Class has a few prospects that receive offers from almost every D3 and NAIA program in the Midwest. We can tell that Ava Mundt of Grundy Center is going to be one of those prospects out of this 2027 Class because of her combination of length, physicality, and athletic ability under the basket on both sides of the floor. Mundt came onto the scene last high school season as a competitor, that can definitely hold her own in-between the blocks. She stands right around 6'0 and she has some athletic ability to pair along with that size. As long as Mundt can receive the correct guidance moving forward, she is going to be a really solid steal for a college program. She has proven she shows up when it matters and that's why you have programs like D3 Powerhouse - Wartburg giving her one of her first offers to continue on her basketball career following high school.
