Friday, May 15, marked the beginning of the second NCAA "live" period in 2026. Indiana teams are spread throughout the country, so we chose to head to Louisville where there were the greatest number of teams to see. Below is a look at a handful of forward & post prospects who I felt were also noteworthy based on their play Friday when I was able to see them.

Alanna is really starting to stand out, and several small college coaches took notice this weekend. She is so strong/powerful and physical, but she can also get out and run the floor, plus she plays with some bounce. She is an imposing presence, especially on the boards and defensively, but when she gets downhill attacking the basket, few people want to get in her way and take a charge. She does have solid mid-post skill, but her physicality and ability to enforce her will inside of the paint is probably as important to her game as anything.

A couple of weeks ago, I felt like Te'Asia needed to play with more consistent urgency from possession to possession. But this past weekend against some talented opponents, she had flashes where you could see her talent and skill step up and look like she was right where she belongs. She is long, wiry-strong, and fluidly athletic in most directions. She plays with some bounce as well. She can handle it a little, she shoots a solid ball to the 3-point line, and she can finish with a variety of moves around the basket. I also think she can become an excellent on-ball defender in time.

In a class filled with guards, Audrey will likely stand out because of (a) the combination of her height and length, and (b) her skill facing the basket and around the perimeter. She is extremely long, wiry-strong, and fairly fluid, especially North/South. She can handle it some in transition and even initiate the offense. She has nice touch to the 3-point line, and she's highly effective in the mid-post. I think she can become more physical and aggressive rebounding the ball. Defensively, she can use her length against bigger wings and perimeter forwards.

I saw Akiera for the first time last Summer, and she has some tools to work with long-term. She is long, wiry-strong, and a solid North/South athlete. In fact, she has some speed and can often outrun her matchups in transition. She looks like she is learning post play and is putting together an array of moves on the block; she just needs to keep becoming more instinctual down there. Defensively, she can alter/block shots consistently, and she plays with nice effort. While she needs a little work, I think she has a lot of small college upside.

Mia had a nice Winter for John Glenn, helping them to an 18-6 record while averaging 12.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. She has a solid to strong frame, she plays with some physicality at all levels, and she has a nice motor. She likes to operate in the mid-post a lot and she looks to shoot or drive it from there. She's also willing to get inside and rebound/defend, but she can step outside to the arc and attack the basket from the 3-point line. The next step for her game is to make her 3-point shot a bit more consistent.

Skylee stands out almost immediately because she's extremely long, tall, and bouncy. Once she finishes growing and adds a bit more strength, it will definitely help her absorb contact and finish through it at the rim. She has some skill in the mid-post, but she still looks most comfortable closer to the basket. She is a nice athlete in transition, and she can get out and rim-run well against her matchups. She's also a highly effective shot-blocker and she alters even more shots than she gets her hands on.

I mentioned Agnes earlier this Spring, and she continues to flash a really nice skillset and potential for the next level. She is long, wiry-strong, fluidly athletic, and somewhat bouncy. She has some touch from the perimeter, she can glide to the basket somewhat effortlessly, and as she gets stronger over time, she'll be able to go through "arm tackles" much more easily when on attack. Defensively, she could become a problem because of her length and athletic ability. I feel like she should be able to defend three or four positions well.
