She had strong cuts to the basket where she was able to catch and finish in rhythm. As a rising freshman she seems to have the foundation in place to have an nice high school season.

Laila used her athleticism to navigate the floor. Watching her work down the full court through traffic was impressive. She showed a good first step to get by her defender and has the shooting range to be respected in the perimeter. At around 5'7" she has pretty good size to play either guard position. She looks set to have an incredible senior season in the IAAM this year.

Indira got the ball up the court quickly allowing her team to to get in their set early. If the defense didn't get back she made them pay in finishing in transition. She attacked the basket hard with strength and physicality getting to the line on multiple occasions. She has a solid frame and showed good vision and decision making on the court at the point guard.

Salima was playing up a couple of grades but still established herself as one of the best players on the court. Her shooting was solid and she had a nice midrange touch. She was especially impressive with her ball handling and ability to attack the rim. She had some good combination moves and her spin move was effective in getting her to the basket. She showed the the ability to finish after contact.

MacKenzie is a terrific athlete who's play spoke for itself. She had several jaw dropping plays that made me do a double take. One play was a spin move into a drop step finish that cover a lot of ground leaving the defender standing at the free throw line. She used the jump stop will drawing contact and finishing afterwards. She got to the line multiple times where she made her free throws.
