Class of 2028: Next Five

Today, we have posted our updated Class of 2028 rankings, and we will look at the top 10 players in the updated rankings draft. As is always the case, we will look at the top five in the first article of the day, and follow that article up with a next five article highlighting the No. 6 to No. 10 players. There will be more content regarding the 28s tomorrow, but let's look at some of the high-end talent, in what is among the best classes I've seen come through Wisconsin.    The third player in the top ten who's gone through some injury adversity is [player_tooltip player_id='879927' first='Londyn' last='Hollins']. She's missed most of her first two high school seasons with injuries, but when she's on the floor, she pops. Hollins is a creative guard who can shoot the snot out of the ball. She can create, score, and compete at a high level. I also like how much pride she takes in her defensive matchup. She has the tools to be a game-changer at the high school level.     The Janesville native is a talented wing who adds versatility to any lineup she plays in. Stevens is an athletic kid who can move her feet defensively and force live-ball turnovers. Offensively, she can create with the ball, get downhill, knock down jumpers, and make plays for others. She's a kid who doesn't need to score 20 to impact winning, and coaches will love that about her.     The Mukwonago native is a versatile kid who played as a lead guard during the high school season. The 6-1 wing is a solid creator who can get downhill and make plays at the rim or kick the ball out to open shooters. Her defensive versatility may be her best trait. Her length and mobility allow her to defend multiple positions, making her an intriguing talent on that end of the floor. Cochenet is an intriguing kid who's only scratching the surface of what she can do.     The Kohler native is a player with plenty of room to grow, but you won't find many players like her. Elliott is a versatile 6-0 wing who can handle the ball and create for her teammates. I like how well she can attack the basket off the dribble and use her size to defend around the rim and rebound on both ends of the floor. She can initiate an offense and use her athleticism to get downhill or make plays on the perimeter defensively.     Nelson has all the athletic tools to excel as a defender at the next level. She's quick, has the length, can play physically, and reads the game well. She can make plays that few others in her class physically can. The Oshkosh native has also shown flashes of being an impact player offensively by creating, knocking down perimeter jumpers, and getting to the basket. It feels like she's close to putting it all together.
