Macee went on a tear over the weekend, posting 15 points, 13 rebounds, 6 blocks, and 3 steals against Hickman County before delivering a dominant performance at the Holiday Hoopla Classic. She finished that matchup with 24 points, 14 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 3 steals in a win over Livingston Central, earning Player of the Game honors. Through the early part of the season, she is averaging 18.3 points and 14 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive 86% from the free-throw line. Macee is one of my favorite 2027 prospects because she plays super hard. I’ve always appreciated that Hogancamp rebounds the ball at a very high level. She’s a dependable scorer in the low post area and battles on every possession on both ends of the court. Just a remarkably consistent player in the Junior class.

Macee plays with a relentless motor. She protects the paint and showed great timing as a shot blocker. She never hesitates to get on the floor for loose balls, sets solid screens, and does a good job diving to the basket after. Also an efficient finisher around rim with either hand.

Macee brings a tough, physical presence in the paint on both ends of the floor. She plays with a high motor and thrives on doing the dirty work, crashing the boards, providing second-chance points, and protecting the rim. She establishes strong position on the block and makes the most of her paint touches. Macee is also a highly effective shot blocker with great timing and instincts. She had a standout sophomore campaign, leading her team with 13.4 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.
