Summer Rankings Update: Top 110 Senior PG Stock Risers

The evaluation and rankings process was expedited this spring and summer due to the volume of Prep Girls Hoops tournaments in Michigan and mass participation by clubs and teams on our Prep Girls Hoops Circuit. The Prep Girls Hoops College Tour series and Prep Girls Hoops Michigan State Tournament gave us five chances to see prospects compete locally right here in Michigan. Nearly every club with college prospects in Michigan competed in front of our scouts at one Prep Girls Hoops tournament, and many clubs attended more than one. This reality created the perfect environment for us to evaluate prospects from across the state against various levels of competition.   After actively evaluating prospects during the first travel session, we now have 326 players ranked. Height, size, speed, athleticism, fundamental skill development, the position a player is projected to play at the next level, and performance in different competitive settings are all taken into account. Our goal with every class is to accurately group prospects into the correct categories of college potential/projection. By the end of senior year, each class breaks down into clear categories: Power Four/D1+, D1/D2+, D2/NAIA+/D3+/JUCO+, NAIA/D3/JUCO, and NAIA/D3 reserve. As I've written many times, the levels of college basketball intersect, cross, and differ in competitive ability throughout all the divisions. All high school classes do not have the same size, talent, or level of college talent. However, based on my tracking of commitments over the past three years, there appears to be a predictable trend in Michigan.   Based on data from the 2024, 2025, and 2026 classes, there could be approximately 410 or more prospects per grade who can play some level of college basketball. There will always be multisport athletes who don't do travel basketball or play in some remote area where we just don't get the opportunity to identify them for our rankings, despite our best efforts. Using averages from the past three classes, there may be anywhere from 10-20 D1 commits, 20-30 D2 commits, and 125-140 NAIA/D3/JUCO commits in a particular class.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">UPCOMING PGH EVENTS (Use "EvanBell10" code for discount)</h2>   The Freshman Showcase (2030s), August 22nd   <a href="https://events.prepgirlshoops.com/e/2390/register/michigan-freshman-showcase">Registration Link</a>   The Expo (2027-2029s), September 26th   <a href="https://events.prepgirlshoops.com/e/2420/register/the-expo-michigan">Registration Link</a>    Elise is consistent and she's been that way now for years. Elise seems to always step up and perform under the spotlight in front of scouts in a high stakes moment. She continued to do that with [program_tooltip program_id='714462' first='Michigan' last='Premier'] on the PGH Circuit and again with Grass Lake at CMU Team Camp, separating herself as a game changing two-way guard. Elise received recognition as All-Tournament First Team at the PGH Michigan State Tournament and was a frequent Top Performer. Three-point shooting, scrappy on-ball pressure, quick hands and feet, skilled passing, and poised ball-handling make her a solid next-level prospect. Elise picked up offers from Kalamazoo, Rochester, and Madonna.     Ashlyn raised her stock this spring on the PGH Circuit with KBA. Her "pit-bull" style of play on both ends of the floor gives opposing backcourts all they can handle. She's gritty, tough, and has an extra gear when she drives downhill. Ashlyn has the ability to convert difficult shots in traffic with touch and the strength to absorb contact, then finish. She was a frequent Top Performer at multiple tournaments and delivered an MVP effort to lead KBA to a Bronze title at the PGH MI GVSU College Tour. Shifty handles, effective slasher, creator, and scrappy defender makes Ashlyn an appealing next-level lead guard prospect. Her recruiting has taken off with offers from Madonna, Albion, Kalamazoo, and Aquinas.     Kazyia turned in a pair of outstanding performances that really put her on our map. She was a Top Performer for [program_tooltip program_id='962114' first='Lady' last='FVV'] at the PGH MI Wayne State College Tour and turned in another memorable day at CMU Team Camp. Explosive first steps, twitchy handles, sudden change of direction, ability to elevate and finish in traffic, pesky on-ball pressure, and three-point shooting make her a dynamic point guard with a high ceiling. She's a playmaker who can definitely benefit a college program.     One of the biggest stock risers in the latest rankings update is Naimah. Her consistency and dominance convinced me that she belongs with the top-tier prospects in the 2027 class. Naimah's breakthrough was the PGH MI College Tour at GVSU. She scorched the nets from beyond the arc and demonstrated proficiency in every fundamental category you look for in a lead guard at the higher levels. Explosive quickness, excellent vision, confident passing and finishing ability with either hand, and lockdown on-ball pressure. Naimah received recognition as First Team All-Tournament, then showed out again at BCAM Reaching Higher with Mercy. She holds a D2 offer from Wayne State and Davenport. Naimah is one of those lead guards you'd expect to be getting more of those higher-level opportunities at this stage in the process.     Bradie turned in some impressive showing for [program_tooltip program_id='714462' first='Michigan' last='Premier'] on the PGH Circuit and did so again at the Au Sable Shootout with Concord. She's been a consistent playmaker throughout high school and a frequent Top Performer in front of our scouts. I make a comparison to Rondo because she has such a natural feel for runners, floaters, can sink shots in the lane over long defenders off one or two feet, and threads passes with either hand to teammates through tight windows. She's a threat from three, has tight handles, and turns up the heat defensively with her scrappy on-ball pressure. Concord is a D4 contender, and Bradie will be their court general. She'll be an excellent pickup by a college program.     Mackenna helped Brandywine make another trip to the Breslin Center in March. Her stock went through the roof following an All-Showcase First Team performance at the Michigan State Tournament that secured her an offer from Aquinas. Mackenna was a complete player, dominating on both ends of the court. She was a consistent Top Performer for Southwest Elite on the PGH Circuit. Her crafty dribble combinations create space from defenders. She's dangerous in the mid-range and beyond the arc, maintaining balance to shoot accurately off the bounce. Sharp instincts and quickness make Mackenna a stealthy defender who creates points off turnovers in a hurry. She will be an excellent addition to a college program and now holds offers from Calvin, Aquinas, and Madonna.     Gracie was one of the biggest stock risers on the PGH Circuit this spring and summer, delivering several noteworthy games for [program_tooltip program_id='715424' first='The' last='Naturals'] that earned her Top Performer recognition. Multiple scouts from our team across the Great Lakes Region noticed Gracie, and her consistency left a great impression. She's a dynamic playmaker who can slash by defenders with a dribble burst, finish in traffic through contact, and deliver precise passes on the move when defenders commit to her dribble. Gracie is a proficient three-point shooter who can light up from spots all around the arc. She has good footwork inside, plays well off two feet, crashes the boards, and finishes efficiently with either hand. Gracie picked up an offer from Rochester Christian and will be a wonderful addition to a college program.
