The Expo Wish List: Uncommitted 2027 Posts I’d Love to See

The Expo is coming to Grand Rapids on Saturday, September 26th, giving prospects another opportunity to compete and showcase their game in front of college coaches. There is already plenty of talent on the attendee list, but I still have some uncommitted 2027s I would love to see added to the mix. This time, my Expo Wish List turns to the posts—a group that can bring size, strength, rebounding, rim protection, and scoring around the basket. With college coaches in the gym looking for players who can make an impact at the next level, these are some uncommitted 2027 posts I would love to see take the floor at The Expo. She is a strong presence on the glass, especially on the offensive end, where she creates extra possessions and turns rebounds into putback opportunities. Sophie has soft hands and polished footwork around the basket, allowing her to catch and finish effectively in the paint. She can also step away from the rim and knock down shots from behind the arc, giving her an inside-out element to her game. Defensively, Sophie provides rim protection and has shown the ability to come up with timely blocks. Her combination of rebounding, interior scoring, perimeter shooting, and defensive presence gives college coaches plenty to evaluate, and I would love to see her showcase that complete skill set at The Expo.     Gabrielle is an uncommitted 2027 post player I would love to see at The Expo because of the presence she brings to the interior on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she can protect the paint with her shot-blocking ability, challenging attempts around the rim and making opponents think twice when attacking inside. Gabrielle is also a strong rebounder on both ends, helping finish defensive possessions while creating additional opportunities on the offensive glass. Offensively, she does a good job establishing position early and using her strength to seal defenders, giving her teammates a reliable target in the post. She also impacts possessions without needing the ball, setting solid screens to help create openings for others. Her combination of size, physicality, rebounding, rim protection, and willingness to do the work inside would make Gabrielle a great addition to the post group at The Expo.     Madeline is an uncommitted 2027 post player I would love to see at The Expo because of the energy and activity she brings to the paint. She works hard on the offensive glass, tracking down rebounds and creating extra scoring opportunities with her ability to turn second chances into points. Madeline also has good footwork around the basket and shows touch when finishing in traffic. Her willingness to battle on the boards, stay active around the rim, and consistently work for extra possessions gives her a valuable presence inside. I would love to see Madeline bring that same energy to The Expo and get another opportunity to showcase her game in front of college coaches.     Paityn is an uncommitted 2027 post player I would love to see at The Expo because of the presence she brings around the basket on both ends of the floor. She rebounds well, using her size and positioning to secure possessions, and provides rim protection with her ability to block and alter shots. Offensively, Paityn has good hands that allow her to secure passes in traffic, along with solid footwork around the rim to create quality finishing opportunities. Her combination of rebounding, shot blocking, hands, and footwork gives her a strong foundation in the post, and I would love to see her compete in front of the college coaches at The Expo.     Madeline is a 2027 post player I would love to see at The Expo because she has the size, strength, and interior skill set that college coaches will want to get another look at. She establishes position well, using strong seals to create an advantage on the block, and has the hands to secure passes in traffic. Around the basket, Madeline combines excellent pivoting footwork with the ability to finish with either hand, giving her multiple options once she gets the ball inside. She is also a strong rebounder and can draw contact around the rim before converting at the free-throw line. Defensively, Madeline provides a presence in the paint, challenging shots and making it difficult for opponents to finish around the basket. With multiple offers already in hand and her recruitment continuing to build, I would love to see Madeline compete in front of even more college coaches at The Expo.
