Below we address five prospects that are still uncommitted to compete at the next level following their high school career and we discuss what that player can do on both sides of the ball, as well as where they might end up committing at the end of the day when they make their final decision.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

This upcoming season we should get an answer as to where Ari Phillips will be competing at the next level, if that is her choice down the line. Phillips has had a solid career on the hardwood so far. Ever since she was a younger age, she has been helping the Johnston Dragon's win contests and that's been no different these last few years of high school ball while her team won back-to-back, undefeated State Titles for the 5A Class. Phillips has natural ability to her play-style. She is really smart coming down the floor as a PG and she is really skilled within her "bag work" on offensive end. All in all, not sure where Phillips will end up but whoever gets her, is getting a difference maker who could light the nets on fire when she is competing with full confidence.

Tylee Weite will be competing at the D1 level over the next few years of her college career. To where you might ask? I'm not sure but she has several options at that level, after coming off of a successful AAU campaign with MN Fury GUAA. Weite switched AAU programs this last year and it was a great move. In her new system she was able to show off all the parts of her game, not just her shooting ability, and that let scouts see what she might really be able to do for them down the line. She hit meaningful shots from all over the floor offensively, she locked in defensively, and she left it all out on the hardwood - which is really all you can ask for as a coach.

Victoria Burpo should be getting some more love from evaluators throughout the Midwest. Burpo, the 6'1 PF, has always been a handful under the hoop growing up. There really hasn't been many that have stepped to her and who have defended her properly throughout the duration of an entire contest. Her mixture of height, physical dominance, and the way she creates space near the rim is too much to handle for one high school opponent. To slow Burpo down it's going to take 2, 3, maybe in 4 people in the middle of the lane once she catches within 10 FT and at this distance/point - it might already be too late. College coaches need to get on this one. She has had some D1 offers in the past so if was a program out of the Midwest - this is someone I'd be very inserted in moving forward.

One of the lengthier and more interesting prospects with their recruitment still open is Kami Clark of Carlisle High School. Clark comes in right at 5'10 but she has more size and reach than that it seems like. She is able to make up ground and spacing in a short amount go time on both offense and defense, which surprises most of her individual matchups, helping her handle business with ease most of the time. I think that there could be schools at all levels that could throw their name at Clark prior to her commitment. If she leaves all options open right now moving into her Junior year and she takes over the Varsity program at Carlisle this Winter, who knows where she might end up at the end of the day.

Ellie Sievers is a crafty CG that can move around the 1, 2, or 3 spots on the Varsity floor and she can produce with high level of success rates while doing so. Sievers has been the motor and soundboard for Newelll-Fonda High School the last two years and she will return this Winter in the same exact position but this time they are coming off of a 1A State Title from last season. This is going to put a big circle on their back as a main target for opponents this season but that's always the case with this program because they are always so dominant within their Class level. When it comes to Sievers recruitment, we are not sure what offers or interest she has yet but she is one of the craftiest prospects that the state has as a whole so it would not shock me if she got to the next level and absolutely killed it throughout the rest of her career. She has the play-style and experience - now it's just about putting the pen to the paper, per se.

Below we address five prospects that are still uncommitted to compete at the next level following their high school career and we discuss what that player can do on both sides of the ball, as well as where they might end up committing at the end of the day when they make their final decision.
