Tatiana shot the ball extremely well, and it seemed like everyone in the gym knew she was a shooter. On one possession, she missed a three but the offensive rebound found its way back to her. There was almost an anticipation that the second one was going in, as players began heading back down the court before she even released it. Tatiana calmly knocked it down, hitting nothing but net.

While her shooting immediately stood out, Tatiana showed that there is more to her offensive game. She attacked the baseline with a strong drive and finish, showing that defenders cannot simply run her off the three-point line and expect to take her out of the play. She also displayed her strength and concentration around the basket, finishing through a hard foul and maintaining control despite the contact.

Her ability to stretch the floor is clearly a weapon, but combining that shooting with the willingness to attack closeouts makes Tatiana an even tougher matchup. As defenders become more aggressive trying to take away her jumper, she showed that she has the ability to put the ball on the floor and make them pay.

If you’re looking for a gritty, hard nosed, yet humble player who is willing…look no further, her name is Tati.

Ms. Machiz has become one of my favorites to watch. She plays with an edge that is unmatched with a can’t stop…won’t stop mentality.

Her game is well balanced on both ends. Offensively, she is capable of managing the game at the next level while knocking down her shots when open. Defensively, she will fight and claw for her team to win the possession as she plays with a bully-like mentality that brings fear to most point guards.

Tati played pretty well over 6 games but saved her best for the last game. She nailed 4 three pointers that helped break open a close game. She played strong on ball defense in every game and gave her team plenty of strong minutes running the point and keeping things organized. Her stock has really risen this summer.

Tatiana knocked down a long two pointer that was only a few inches from being a three showing the range. She has a nice consistent form on her shot and seems taller than her listed 5’5″ height. Case in point she was able to block a shot inside with both hands, secured the ball to start the offense for her team.

Tatiana led Power Move’s second-half surge on both ends of the court. Offensively, she effectively disrupted the opposing zone, knocking down 2 of 4 from deep across four quick possessions and forcing the defense to adjust. Defensively, she used her physicality to contain and slow down D1-caliber guards, setting the tone with her toughness and competitiveness.
