She is a solid 5'9 forward who can play inside and out. She is extremely strong and physical around the basket. She can bully smaller opponents at the rim and finish through contact but can also step behind the three-point line and knock down the deep trey. She has a smooth shooting form with a nice follow-through. She is really good from three when she gets her feet set. Mckenzie's combination of toughness, three-point shooting, and quality post play have her up in the rankings.

I really like the way Keelyn plays basketball and I am sure Jay Bachman feels the same way. She is an athletic two-way guard who can really score the ball if needed. She has a really good shooting form and doesn't take many bad shots. She is really deadly once she sets her feet and steps into drive-and-kick opportunities. Central Cass will have a high powered offense and Keelyn will be ready for her chance to shine. In addition to her offensive game, she is also a good defender. She moves her feet, stops drives, and secures rebounds.

Avery is Rugby's best player and had another fantastic season as a freshman last year. She is already a two-year starter and an All-Region selection. She will be an All-State selection going forward and could be as good as a three-time All-State selection, four-time All-Region selection, and a Miss Basketball finalist when all is said and done. She is a scoring machine and scored an average of 18.3 points per game at the state tournament in 2026. She is a prolific outside three-point threat and very physical when driving to the hoop. The most impressive part of her game is her passing. She finds open girls constantly throughout games for easy buckets. I think Avery will be a Division 2 player.

I have heard from a trusted source that Laqua is 'going to be a stud.' She has the physical capabilities to be a very effective high school post. The EDC has a handful of teams with height and Jocelyn should be able to defend them well. If Davies can get to the state tournament in 2027, Laqua's strength and defensive fortitude is going to be critical against the premiere posts of the WDA. She moves well, can push opponents near the rim, and can secure rebounds. I also expect Jocelyn to also take a step forward with her offensive production in 2026-2027.

Schumaker is going to be an outstanding varsity player. She will continue in her reserve role this season but should be a two-year starter as a junior and senior on really good teams. I think she will have a chance at being an All-WDA player some day as well. She is very skilled already and has the ball on a string. She has a really good hesitation dribble that allows her to get past defenders. She is long and athletic, skilled, and can shoot the ball. Her frame and athletic ability is what college coaches look for in recruits. Hadley is just scratching the surface of how good she is going to be.

Becca is a scrappy player who plays bigger than her listed 5'3 height. Any player that can contribute when they are a little bit smaller of a basketball player earns a lot of respect from me. Becca competes each possession and is a good enough shooter to be an effective piece on a very talented team. She would have a bigger role on many squads that aren't as guard heavy as Century. She is a speedy player with a tremendous burst of speed, a soft touch on her shot, and good vision with the rock. Cowans will be a contributor moving forward.
