About Jenna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am 6'1 small forward who can knock down outside shots but can also attack closeouts and finish around the rim. My size and length lets me space the floor while also being a reliable defender on the wing or inside.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am competitive and hardworking, but also team-oriented. I try to stay coachable, give my best effort, and do whatever my team needs to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership by playing basketball and communicating on the court and helping teammates stay locked in. I value teamwork and always try to keep everyone involved and positive.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A big challenge I faced is growing up with divorced parents and dealing with custody battles while also balancing school. Basketball has been my escape from all of that. It gives me a place to clear my head, stay focused, and push through the tough times. Those experiences have made me stronger and more determined both on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with strong academics and a competitive basketball program where I can grow as a player and a person. I want a team culture that feels like family, with coaches who push me to improve.

Jenna was a strong interior presence throughout the day and consistently effective operating in the post. She played with confidence and physicality, using her frame well to establish position and seal defenders, which allowed for clean passing angles and high-percentage scoring opportunities. Once she caught the ball, she showed good touch around the rim, finishing through contact and demonstrating patience in traffic. Her footwork stood out, she used drop steps, pivots, and up-and-under’s to keep defenders guessing and create space for herself on the block.
