AAU Team Breakdown: Team Durant 17U EYBL

Denver Carlton was a player I watched a lot when she was at Bishop O'Connell. Denver has nice length as a guard. She is a good athlete and can score from all over the court. She is a good passer and has high potential defensively.      Dru Carlton plays off of other talented players well. Similar to her twin sister, she is a good athlete and has decent length. She defends well and is a good spot-up shooter. She is more of a two-guard, and she is a nice piece on this highly talented squad.      [player_tooltip player_id='569065' first='Genesis' last='Schneeberg'] is the type of player every great team needs. She is willing to do all the little things and finds her role on talented teams like this one. You see the importance she provides on a talented Sidwell team and, the same role carries over to this [program_tooltip program_id='815866' first='Team' last='Durant'] squad. Genesis is strong and is a good finisher. She is a tough interior defender and moves players around inside. She has a great motor and is always impactful.     [player_tooltip player_id='376355' first='Lyla' last='Coogen'] is the type of wing who fits in tremendously with most programs/teams. She has terrific length and is an outstanding spot-up shooter. Her play style and size allow her to fit onto many teams, and you can never have too much spacing.      Something to point to when talking about this high-level [program_tooltip program_id='815866' first='Team' last='Durant'] team is that they have two five-star players on their roster. [player_tooltip player_id='1252703' first='Jezelle' last='Banks'] is one of them. Jezelle is a complete player who can dominate a game. She is an elite driver and a crafty finisher. She can hit jump shots and is an elite passer. Jezelle has already gotten off to an excellent start to this AAU season, and she is one of the best young guards in the country.      [player_tooltip player_id='475074' first='Ava' last='Yoon'] is a knockdown shooter who can play both guard positions. She plays the two a lot more, but she has the skill set to handle PG duties. She is a good passer and can put the ball on the floor and score. Her shooting is probably her best offensive skill, but she has become a very complete offensive player.      Jameela has elite size, and she has sky-high potential. She is an excellent rim protector and can dominate the glass. Her size and athleticism make her an elite defender, and at nothing else, her impact on that side of the floor makes her valuable. She has a decent post-game and is someone to watch moving forward.      I've been watching [player_tooltip player_id='579893' first='Peyton' last='White'] since her Freshman year, and she has steadily improved every year. From day 1, she was impactful defensively. She is an excellent rim protector and moves well against smaller players. She is a little undersized, but so far her motor and athleticism have made up for it.      There are not many players in NOVA who did a better job turning defense into offense than [player_tooltip player_id='239413' first='Keyarah' last='Rainey']. Keyarah is an outstanding athlete and an elite perimeter defender. She is excellent when attacking the rim, and her vision is solid. Keyarah is a true two-way star.      [player_tooltip player_id='433871' first='Jordyn' last='Jackson'] is another 5-star this team has. Jordyn is arguably the best player in the DMV and a matchup nightmare. Jordyn has great size and can score from all three levels. Jordyn's handle is a strong suit as a wing, and she has a lethal mid-range game. She knocks down threes consistently and does a great job when she is attacking the basket. She doesn't shy away from contact and has a wide range of ways she can score.
