About Geniyah
Expert Analysis
Danyle Bowers | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Geniyah is a powerful post presence who brought a strong interior game to the open gym. She battled for position down low and consistently finished through contact, showing great balance and touch around the rim. What stood out even more was her ability to handle the ball with confidence — when double-teamed, she stayed composed and made smart kick-out passes to open teammates. Her combination of strength, skill, and awareness makes her a versatile post who can impact the game in multiple ways.

Geniyah is a forward prospect whose stock went up with West Michigan Drive 2028-S40 at the Select Super Showcase. Her strength and athleticism stood out on the court. Geniyah moved laterally well to stop dribble drives and created steals with her aggressive defense. She scored contested layups with power in the paint and split defenders with a dribble burst to score a scoop layup. Geniyah battled to secure an offensive rebound, pivoted, and finished with her left hand off two feet. She set hard screens, attacked gaps with hard downhill drives, and earned trips to the free throw line. Geniyah will be a prospect to watch with Waverly this winter.
