Jaci is a really talented player ready to take the next step in her development. She will likely be the number two scoring option behind Haug and will have some games where she leads the squirrels in scoring. She is a lights out shooter with a terrific shooting form. I like the lift she creates on her shot with her quick release and nice follow-through. She is a good athlete and competes night in and night out. She will have a good chance at earning herself a spot on the All-Region team this season.

Jaci is a very good player and found herself on the All-Region team this past season as just a sophomore. She is mostly known for her prolific outside shooting. She has one of the best looking shots that I have seen. It has a nice dip, great rhythm, fantastic lift, and outstanding follow-through. All of this is done with a quick release that makes it very difficult to defend. She helped stretch the floor for the Squirrels last season and is only going to get better. She is also a quality ball-handler. She is able to take pressure off of teammate Kenley Haug Kenley Haug 5'7" | CG/PG Central Cass | 2029 State ND . I would utilize her in this position more as she does a good job of decision making and taking care of the rock.

Verkuehlen has emerged as a starter this season on the Central Cass Squirrels. She is a sharp shooting guard with great speed. Her shooting form is excellent and she does a great job of setting her feet and being shot ready on drive and kicks. She is a good ball-handler and defender. She gets up and pressures opponents and has active hands. I think Jaci is a future All-Region player.

Central Cass has really good guard play and Jaci is amongst those talented guards. She is a really effective ball handler and can get her team out of trouble when they are being pressed in the full-court. She is really good at getting her team into their offensive sets and can initiate plays on either side of the court. She has a smooth looking jump shot and is going to have a nice high school career.

Jaci is a steady guard who is a capable ball handler.  She isn’t afraid to get on the floor and dive for loose balls.  She has a sweet shooting form and is deadly from behind the arc.  She plays hard and the right way.  Central Cass has another great guard that will be a key contributor for several years.
