Several players made a strong case, but one standout became the clear choice for this week's award. Those who had a dominant week worthy of consideration have been included in the article as Honorable Mention. Here are the girls who had an outstanding week eight. Angela etched her name in the school's history books and added to her legacy with a record-shattering week. She broke the Arbor Prep single-game scoring and rebounding record with 50 points, 29 rebounds, 14 assists, and eight steals in a 96-13 win vs. Ann Arbor Central Academy. Angela broke her own scoring record in the next game with 53 points in a 72-27 win vs. Detroit University Prep Art and Design. She added 24 rebounds, six steals, and two assists. Angela is a three-time state champion and an All-State honoree.
