The quarter finals of the WCAC playoffs had four games hosted at Gonzaga High School. The top seeds held serve for the most part, however, St. Mary's Ryken got the best of Bishop McNamara, well they won a quarter. The Mustangs went into the half with a commanding 45-3 lead holding the Knights scoreless in the second quarter. Ryken came in after the break winning the third quarter 19-18. With the way the game was going this was a moral victory as the game had been decided by the end of the first quarter. In the end Bishop McNamara advanced with a 78-24 victory.

Here are some of the top performers from the quarter finals.

Qandace scored 20 of her 30 points in the first half while sitting out most of the second with the game secured. She scored half of her points not having to run the court as she or one of her teammates would create a turnover in the backcourt for a score. She was very efficient from beyond the arc going 3 for 3 from long distance. If this continues their is no one that will defeat this team.

Despite the huge disparity in the score Madyson was terrific putting up 12 points including several three pointers. She continued her effort on the defensive end with multiple steals while leading her team as a freshman. She has a bright career and we are looking forward to seeing her this summer.

Sravya was held scoreless in the first half of Paul VI's win. She won the jump ball went down for the outlet and drove for the basket in the first few seconds of the game. On the next possession she attacked off the dribble from the high post for a score and followed that up by slitting the double team for another score. At the end of the day she was sitting on 17 points in only three quarters of play as the Cadets advanced to the semi finals.
