A guard that has good size and skill set. Dani knocked down several nice looking three-point shots early on those had defenders focusing on taking her shot away by the end of the night. The thing I liked was once the defense came running at her she gave them a head fake and went pass them using both her right and left hand to get to the basket. Macri was also active on the defensive end to make things happen for her team and keep them undefeated.

Macri was another of those Wando players from its junior varsity team that would find their way to Oceanside Collegiate. Prior to the start of last season, Macri announced she would wear the Her Elite uniform for her spring and summer travel schedule. Her Elite plays on the Nike circuit and she was part of its 14U Jr. EYBL team during this year’s grassroots schedule. Macri’s spring and summer included competed at the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit’s Peach Games in Georgia back in early May and winning a Gold Bracket championship at this year’s Nike Nationals in Chicago. Macri adds plenty of height to Oceanside Collegiate considering she stands at 5-foot-10. 

Fresh off a Junior EYBL Gold Championship this summer with HER Elite, Dani is ready to continue her high level play this weekend. Standing at 5’10 she will be one of the tallest guards in attendance this weekend. Her ability to knock down 3’s at a good clip is right in line with the rest of her 2030 class that shoots the ball at a high level. What will separate Dani this weekend will be her ability to make plays over the top, utilizing her size to pick apart the defense.

If you need a big bucket down the stretch — you can count on Daniella ‘Dani’ Macri to knock down a three-pointer when it matters. A pure shooter who does the little things that matter most on offense. Dani is a skilled spot-up shooter with great fundamentals. When things are clicking on all cylinders, Macri is a player you can count on to knock down key shots. She likes to get to her spots both in the midrange and beyond the arc. Macri also has great court vision and is able to make the extra pass to get the entire team involved.
