Teigh played a massive role in their thrilling come from behind victory over North Laurel! When momentum needed to swing, Teigh stepped up. She filled the stat sheet with 14 points, 6 rebounds and a three pointer while wreaking havoc defensively with 5 steals. Her relentless energy helped ignite the comeback and push her team to a huge Sweet 16 win!

Teigh was aggressive from the opening tip, getting downhill in a heartbeat and scoring GRC’s first points of the game. She did a great job turning the corner and finding driving lanes to attack, putting constant pressure on the defense. Teigh also showcased her range by knocking down a three in the second quarter and stayed active on the glass throughout the game, highlighted by a strong rebound and put-back in the third. 

A super athletic wing who thrives attacking the rim and impacting the game defensively! Teigh’s speed and leaping ability make her an elite on-ball defender, and she is relentless when slashing to the basket. She is averaging 11 PPG, 5 RPG, and leads GRC in free throws made and attempted.

Teigh had a big spring and summer, adding more Division I offers to her bag while competing on the Under Armour Circuit with WV Thunder 17U Johnson, where she helped lead the team to a UAA Championship. After committing to Robert Morris University last month, she now enters her senior season at GRC, where the expectation is clear: state championship or bust.

After a strong showing during the April Live Period with WV Thunder, she added another Division I offer to her bag from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Just weeks later, Teigh was crowned 3A State Champion in both the long jump and triple jump, further solidifying her status as one of the best multi-sport athletes in Kentucky. On the hardwood, she averaged 10.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game as a junior for the state runner-up Lady Cardinals. Her two-way impact, athleticism, and leadership will be vital in helping GRC take that final step and get over the hump next season.

Teigh is an elite athlete and she made that clear. Her leaping ability and quick second jump gave her advantage on the glass. She provided plenty of second chance scoring opportunities and did good job turning steals into points.
