Mary Amoateng Mary Amoateng 5'8" | PG Bishop McNamara | 2025 State MD l 5-5 l Point Guard l Pallotti l 2025
Mary show a mix of trick dribbles and good shooting. She was especially good from the mid range cutting her drive in the open area to get her shot off. She made good use of the hesitation dribble to freeze the defender, her shot accuracy made the move even more effective.
Amaya Durrett Amaya Durrett 5'6" | CG Parkdale | 2025 State MD l 5-6 l Shooting Guard l Parkdale l 2025
Amaya shot the ball really well and was effective from the three. She and Layla Burton Layla Burton 5'3" | PG Elizabeth Seton | 2025 State MD make a formidable back court and one of the best in the county. She can play both guard positions but her scoring and the fact that Burton can handle the point as well she may be more valuable off the ball at the two.
Nia Grimes Nia Grimes 5'9" | PG Pallotti | 2023 State MD l 5-7 l Shooting Guard l Pallotti l 2023
Nia Grimes Nia Grimes 5'9" | PG Pallotti | 2023 State MD is a new addition for Pallotti. She moved from Virginia to Maryland and has fully recovered from a knee injury suffered a few years ago. She was the best shooter in the gym and is one of the better shooters that I have seen in the last couple of years. It seems like everything she put up went in. She was especially good with the corner three.
Chloe Mills Chloe Mills 5'0" | PG Baltimore Poly | 2026 State MD l 5’0 l Point Guard l Baltimore Poly l 2026
Chloe is a tough defender, I mean extremely tough. She is very harassing and gets under ball handlers without fouling. The term lock down defender tends to get overused on every level but in this case the title fits. She’s fast and is a capable point guard that seems to never tire.
Amora Alston Amora Alston 5'1" | PG St. Frances Academy | 2025 State MD l 5-4 l Point Guard l Forest Park l 2024
Amora has a complete game. She gets out on the break quickly in transition turning turnovers into easy layups. She attacks well and is able to make moves at full speed to get past defenders. Her mid-range game is good and she has a three pointer that must be respected. She is a tough player to guard as you don’t know what her attack method will be.
Autumn Fleary Autumn Fleary 5'7" | PG McDonogh School | 2026 State MD l 5-8 l Combo Guard l Pallotti l 2026
Autumn is a freshman that plays with a lot of confidence. She has a good shot from a few steps behind the three and is not afraid to take it when open. She’s a player to keep an eye on this season and will make her debut in the rankings.
