Maddie is one of the best point guards around. She controls the game and is immune to pressure. She has a really good shot and is deadly when it’s clicking. She has good vision and makes the right decision in transition. She can dominate the game without domination the ball.
With the low percentage floater being the shot of choice for most guards the mid-range jumper has become a lost art. Caliyah has one of the best mid-range pull up jumpers and executes it flawlessly. She is a superb ball handler and has the speed to blow past most any defender. She was in her groove against Holy Child and Mt. Carmel as she took over both games.
You can have as much horsepower in a race car as you want but it means nothing without a good driver. Ava has the keys to the Ferrari and drives it really well. She understands her role as a point guard on a team full of future all-Americans. She has a consistent outside shot which doesn’t allow defenses to play off of her to double team.
Kisa is fast and skilled and a capable point guard. She has a good shot and can pull her shot off at any point in her dribble. She would be considered a scoring point guard but she is a great passer with good vision as well.
Elyse had several breakaway layups created by her defensive pressure. She showed of a nice hesitation dribble that got her some easy baskets after she froze her defender. She also showed range to knock down the three.
Anylah is deceptively quick and trick with her handles. She has a good shot and uses her body well to shield defenders. Her low center of gravity allows her to get under and disrupt ball handlers on defense.
