Countless travel teams came from across the country to compete April 19-21st in this NCAA Live-Period event. S-40, P-24, and independent circuit travel teams competed in front of 300+ D1, D2, and D3 college coaches across 28 courts at the Spooky Nook Sports Championship Mill facility. Here are a few 2027 prospects who impressed me as I watched their games courtside over the weekend.
Olivia Gadson Olivia Gadson 5’8″ | CG Holt | 2027 State MI contributed on both ends for Michigan Drive Premier 15U-Hudson at The Clash. She applies pressure on ball handlers, forcing multiple steals. Olivia stole the ball many times and converted turnovers into points using strong downhill drives through traffic. She scans the defense and pushes the ball up the court in transition. Olivia knocked down a wing 3 and made impact plays on both ends of the court.

Kyra Vukovic Kyra Vukovic 6’3″ | PF Lansing Catholic | 2027 MI (6’3, F, 2027) was an effective forward for Michigan Drive Premier -15U-Hudson at The Clash. Kyra used her length to battle inside for offensive rebounds and finished shots around the basket. Kyra’s length and balanced closeouts forced missed shots in the paint. She showed her skilled footwork to create an open look using a step through pivot in the paint.
Mckynley Gaddy Mckynley Gaddy 5’6″ | PG Michigan Center | 2027 State MI was an impressive PG for Michigan Drive Premier 15U-Vieau at The Clash. She sees the floor exceptionally well and throws strong, accurate passes. She dribbled full court into a long 2 and put her defender in jail to create space for an overhead pass assist. Mckynley is an efficient outside shooter, draining 3’s from the corner and up top. She drove hard into a defender and scored a floater in the paint. Mckynley steals passes, dishes out assists to teammates, and scores at all levels.
