Throughout the weekend I kept a notebook full of small notes that I took for each athlete, as I watched them compete live and in-person. In this article I highlight seven prospects and go over the notes that I had written down about each athlete, as I watched them compete on the hardwood. These notes are just a more simple or brief way of explaining what I was seeing in that moment.

#3 - Carmela Bright - 2026 - 5'9 - SF - Illinois GameTime 2025 (IL)

"Bright is a lengthy prospect that can use her size to her advantage on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she has a longer reach than most, giving her creative looks at the hoop on either wise while attacking. Defensively, with her mixture of active hands, quick feet, and knowledge to stay down on pump fakes, she gets a lot of tips/deflections/blocks because of it throughout the duration of a contest."

#7 - Haley Hanks - 2027 - 5'6 - PG/SG - Lifeline Elite Sports 2026 (NE)

"Hanks is a productive guard, that can do a number of different things on the basketball court to help her team throughout a contest. Hanks has a quick handle, solid vision, and the ability to score or facilitate for other teammates around her. She can stick with quick opponents in most aspects down the floor in transition and she is the type to be the first on the floor for a loose ball when the opportunity presents itself. Overall, she helps you more than she hurts you in the grand scheme of things."

#45 - Kallin Mccolm - 2026 - 5'8 - SG - [program_tooltip program_id='774653' first='Minnesota' last='Bobcats'] 2026 (MN)

"Mccolm is a dedicated student of the game. If she isn't having the best contest or weekend she is willing to put in the work to stay afterward and work on her play style. This weekend I only saw Mccolm for a short amount of time but she left it all on the floor and her team put together a nice event as a whole. If she continues to work on her game and what she does best, I'm sure she will stay productive moving in the future."

#21 - [player_tooltip player_id='874373' first='Brooke' last='Wellnitz'] - 2027 - 5'10 - X - [program_tooltip program_id='712778' first='Purple' last='Aces'] 2026 National (WI)

"Wellnitz is only one of two younger individuals on her [program_tooltip program_id='712778' first='Purple' last='Aces'] 2026 National team. She stands at 5'10, she moves well off of the ball as a screener/cutter, and she understands her part on this team. I watched this group win every game they played at this event and they looked really good. They all are willing to make the extra pass to an open teammate, almost to a fault. If someone has a wide open layup, sometimes they will give it up for an open jumper even though it's not the cleanest look. This program's teaches some good stuff and how to play the right way is one of those things. As for Wellnitz, she has a promising future as it pertains to this sport."

#3 - [player_tooltip player_id='636285' first='Rayanna' last='Jenkins'] - 2026 - 5'4 - PG - [program_tooltip program_id='713145' first='Wisconsin' last='Blizzard'] 2026 Hawley (WI)

"This is a quick thinking, fast decision making prospect when the ball is in her hands. She can get down the floor or by her opponent in the blink of an eye, opening up the floor for her teammates to score once they have that advantage on the break. She can hit shots in rotation once she passes within her offense and she receives the ball back, she can control the tempo of the entire game, and she can change the outcome of a contest by her production alone. This will be a prospect that collegiate recruiters will be reaching out to at some point in her near future if she keeps up her productive we have seen this weekend and the past year."

#33 - [player_tooltip player_id='874383' first='Brianna' last='Breese'] - 2027 - 5'11 - SF/CG - Purples Aces 2027 National (WI)

"I would say the Breese is an athletic player, that has great bursts of speed from spot to spot and great versatility in the half-court. She can mix it up with smaller prospects or she has the ability to hold her own against someone who maybe bigger. She has great size at 5'11 for a player that is going into her sophomore year of high school with a good amount of upside if she stays dedicated to her craft and she plays to her strengths."

#5 - [player_tooltip player_id='891635' first='Elizabeth' last='Koplien'] - 2027 - 5'7 - CG - [program_tooltip program_id='713145' first='Wisconsin' last='Blizzard'] 2027 Hawley (WI)

"Koplien is a strong rebounder, a crafty playmaker when she has the basketball in her possession, and she has a quick change of direction if she is ever cut off by defender. She may not be the focus of her team's offense but she does a great job of making the most of her chances and standing out in her own ways throughout a ball game. This weekend she was someone that I noticed a few times in her contests because of this type of consistent play."
