A ton of talent in class 4A next season. Most of these players are on teams that could make a deep run in the playoffs. Wins matter when making tough decisions between players who are on the watchlist and ones that are close. Here are my top 10.

1. [player_tooltip player_id='317132' first='Brooklynn' last='Haywood'] - I have said it since her freshman year. She is the most skilled all around player I have seen in high school basketball. A virtual lock for POY. Junior season should be one of the top All time scoring seasons in WA state history. Can score 30 on a bad night.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='367327' first='Malia' last='Ruud'] - WSU signee is most dominant post player in class 4A. A walking double double for a Chiawana team that should be a contender. Can also step out and hit the jumper on a consistent basis.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='317648' first='Keirra' last='Thompson'] - Pure point guard might need to be more selfish after graduating lots of points from last year's state title team. She has the skills to score and facilitate with the best of them. Highlight reel type passing skills.

4. [player_tooltip player_id='748943' first='Aylah' last='Cornwall'] - Had an outstanding freshman season averaging 20 points and leading Gonzaga Prep to 2nd place finish at state. A dynamic player can score from all levels. Excels at creating off the dribble and can knock down shots from three. No weaknesses, lots of strengths.

5. [player_tooltip player_id='318805' first='Olivia' last='Collins'] - Take your pick here with teammate [player_tooltip player_id='676260' first='Kawehi' last='Borden'] also worthy. Collins is a tough guard who is great at attacking the basket and shoots it well from three. Tough to keep out of the lane.Has shown that she can be trusted to have the ball in her hands for top team in the state.

6. [player_tooltip player_id='362412' first='Lia' last='Hanson'] - Vermont signee excels at shooting off the dribble and creating in the mid-range. Creative around the basket and in the open floor. Shooter who has doubled up as a highly efficient shot maker. Primed for a big senior season

.7. [player_tooltip player_id='482561' first='Portia' last='Polo'] - Her game has improved every year. Great point guard IQ with the ball skills to be a threat at all times. Went from good to great shooter. Great quickness to create downhill. Toughness that shows up as great competitor on both sides of the ball. Should continue to reel in the offers from college coaches.

8. [player_tooltip player_id='827947' first='Cheyenne' last='Hull'] - Part of an outstanding trio of 2027 players for Davis. Can play inside and out with her length. All levels scorer is smooth around the basket. Will develop into an excellent shooter. Already a good one. Gets to the basket off the dribble where the ability to finish stands out. A good defender with great anticipation. High ceiling player is a prospect!

9. [player_tooltip player_id='317597' first='Ashley' last='Uusitalo'] - Opened some eyes last year in her sophomore season. Broke school record for threes made in a season and scored 2nd most single season points in LW history. Scoring guard who continues to improve as a big time shot maker. She is a good athlete and uses it to be effective in the mid-range and open floor. Ability to guard multiple positions. The elite shooting is the building block has opened up all levels. She should be getting a lot of attention from colleges next season.

10. [player_tooltip player_id='579810' first='Megan' last='Roberts'] - Elite shooting skills with 179 threes made in two years. Can create own shots in the mid-range to keep the defense honest. Transfers to Eastlake after two years at Newport. Will be the number one scoring option for the Wolves and a threat to get 30 any given night.

My pick - By the numbers - [player_tooltip player_id='317132' first='Brooklynn' last='Haywood'] [player_tooltip player_id='367327' first='Malia' last='Ruud']

Best player - [player_tooltip player_id='317132' first='Brooklynn' last='Haywood']

A ton of talent in class 4A next season. Most of these players are on teams that could make a deep run in the playoffs. Wins matter when making tough decisions between players who are on the watchlist and ones that are close. Here are my top 10.
