Tough kid who is going to play some valuable minutes for the Lady Lions ballclub. Shifty guard who shoots the three-ball well, but can also utilize her dribble to get downhill and finish at the rim. Plays solid on D, she’s quick, fast, and can change direction easily to keep an opponent in front. She’s going to be impactful this year as she can guard 1-3, but also rebound and get steals. Look for her to be a solid piece for this team as they look to punch their ticket back to Cookeville.

Abby Olsen Abby Olsen 5'5" | PG/SG Providence Christian | 2028 State TN at 5’4″ brings a lot to the point guard position. And that is proven by her #50 overall rank in TN in the class of 2028.

The number one thing that stands out about her game right away is her speed. Every time she steps on the court, she is one of the quicker players, and she uses her plus speed well, especially on the defensive end. She is tough to get around and has a knack for getting steals. Last year against the University School of Nashville, she had five steals in one game.

On offense, Olsen brings above-average play-making ability and is a good driver in transition. It will be exciting to see what season Olsen can put together in her second year of high school hoops.

Pretty soon, people are going to know what this young lady is all about. Solid ballplayer who competes on each possession. She is a multi-level scoring threat who is a heady ball player on both ends of the floor. She can defend, contribute in all phases of the game and is just a great teammate. She can handle the ball, knockdown shots from all three levels, and thread the needle with her passing. She’s a gym rat who is always working on her craft. This special talent will contribute mightily to the Lady Lions program next season. Look for her to start fast and help them finish strong.

Played sparingly this season but will be ready to contribute significantly next year. She’s a shifty guard who can pull the trigger from deep, but also create off the dribble utilizing her speed and quickness to get to the rim. Solid build and is poised with the ball in her hands, she makes the right reads as she gains advantageous spots on the floor where she can exploit. Look for her to come back to the Lady Lions program as a new threat to help eliminate the competition.

An exciting prospect who will provide an extra boost for this Lady Lions ball club. I love her demeanor and how she approaches the game. Has a beautiful shot release from the arc, can create and put the ball on the floor, can finish in the paint. She is a little shiftiness to her game and tight handles. Abby is a scoring guard who can fill it up and does so with confidence. Solid defender with great footwork and quick hands. Even though she will be a freshman this season, look for her to come in and provide quality minutes for this ball club. She plays hard on both ends of the floor.
