There are not a lot of players in this class with the elite athleticism that Robbins possesses not just in Georgia but nationally. She is as quick as a cat and can really explode off the ground when she jumps. Combine that with her 5’9 frame and really long wingspan and you have game-changing player on both ends of the court. Robbins was lethal in transition this Summer with Hebron and Her Elite sprinting out on the fast break and leaving everyone else in her rear-view mirror. At the rim, Michel finishes well with both hands and elevates over most defenders. Robbins has worked very hard since middle school to be skilled in every area and not simply rely on physical gifts. I think Robbins will actually be a better player in college as her game is more suited for the speed and pace of play on that level. She and her very talented teammates at Hebron will have to run the gauntlet of power programs in the private school division that includes St. Francis and Holy innocents if they hope to repeat as state champions.

Robbins made the trip up Interstate 85 from the metro-Atlanta area to the Carolinas for this year’s Da Future Showcase. During the offseason, she transferred from 3A Jefferson to a Hebron Christian team that participated in the Private School State Championship last season. A product of Southeast All Stars 16U 3SSB (Adidas), she places emphasis on taking care of the ball and is a fearless rim attacker. Robbins also displays confidence in her ability to make plays with how she will call for the ball. She is listed as a small forward and shooting guard. Robbins was a huge reason why the Dragons finished 22-6 last season and advanced to the quarterfinals of last season’s 3A state tournament.

Off to a box score stuffing start, Michel Robbins Michel Robbins 5'9" | SG Hebron Christian Academy | 2027 State GA missed the second half of the Jackson EMC Tip-Off Tournament Championship due to sickness. Before her illness befell her, Robbins was great, recording 4 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocks. Her athleticism and instincts allowed her to be first to all 50/50 balls. She hit a mid-range jumper and scored on a pretty scoop layup out of a spin move. Michel made good reads when she caught the ball in the high post. Defensively, she showcased her ability to guard inside and out.

High motor do-everything guard averaged 15.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.8 steals as a freshman.
